Custom Leaflet layer control - javascript

I have 7 leaflet maps created via loop and data which is exactly the same on each map controlled by a checkbox; however, my plan was to make one layer visible per map. I have searched for a solution where my maps can remain while having one layer per map, but to no avail. I had the idea of keeping one of each layer on by default when the page loads in, but I can't seem to find anything on that either. Does anyone know how to do that? I have left one layer's coordinates in the code Toe_11000 (the "11000 years ago" checkbox) since my coordinates went over the character limit but please let me know if you need clarification. If you need more of the coordinates for the layers, the full code can be found in this JSFiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/wpc6707/3ksjh06p/21/

So, if you use all your data inside glacier_map_Data, where the properties reflect the data-* attribute of each element in the Document i.e: <div data-map="glacier_1"></div> add inside it also the properties label, shape and style :

Openlayer - filter layer from another layer using "in-like" clause

I have two Layer :
POLYGON
-Feature Id:1 Territory: A
-Feature Id:2 Territory: B
POINT
-Feature Id:1 Color:blue Territory: A
-Feature Id:2 Color:orange Territory: A,B
When hovering a point the polygon feature associated with (by the territory attribute get colorized in green)
When you hover the blue point (territory A) the polygon territory A gets colorized in green
I would like, on hovering the orange point, both polygon to be colorized in green (since the orange point hold A and B as territory attribute)
I tried by switching "==" in the json filter by a in clause, but it doesn't work.
An,y ideas?

In your example, it looks like you have mixed up the calls to selectedTerr as if sometimes it was an array (when you index it with [0]) and sometimes an openlayers feature (when you call selectedTerr.setStyle(...)).
The logic to implement to solve your problem should be as follows:
(0) reset the polygon style
(1) when hovering over a point, retrieve the territory or territories to which it refers
(2) traverses the polygons list to retrieve the corresponding territory or territories
(3) apply the style to these polygons
The part of your code that I have modified is the following and includes the numbering of these 4 steps:

Multiple Leaflet maps

I have this webpage that I am developing which involves multiple Leaflet maps on the webpage using jQuery from top to bottom. See this lo-fi wireframe for a closer look . I have tried to add multiple <div>s in index.html and multiple map variables in main.js (and yes, styled in CSS), as well as
creating a function like kboul's answer here on StackOverflow but no matter what I do, it ends up just being one map that does not load the base map. For now, I have included the code that works with only one map See this image of what the code looks like with all the layers on and working. Also please note the coordinates have been redacted because there were so many.

Mapbox - Trying to add a route between several markers

I am trying to learn JS and creating maps with the Mapbox GL JS and Directions. I managed to add markers to a map, and now I would like to add a route between the markers (1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4).
After playing around for several time now, I got stuck. The markers are added, but no route is shown.

There are many issues I have found in the code, but long story short, the source you are creating is wrongly created. To simplify the explanation I had to remove the double for loop and the call to the service to show you how you should create the source for the path.
I have shaped this fiddle creating a path in Portland.

Now knowing how this layer needs to be created, you can surely bring back your loops and the call to the service, but as long you are double looping you'll be creating a layer per loop, which is definitely NOT desirable nor recommendable.
I also noted the coords of the your geojson source are repeated and the coords do not correspond to the places indicated, but I ignored them for the sample in the fiddle.

show leaflet marker popup from outside of map dynamically

I am using Leaflet javascript library to show some earthquake information. You are able to see few red circles on map. When you click that red circle it will display few details in popup.
I want to show the popup when you click the link from outside of map. This (answer) is useful. But, I want to achieve it without ID? I mean if i have more than 30 markers on map and also I don't have any ID, just class names in my links. How do I trigger popup when I click a link from outside of map?
This (answer) is good. In this answer they mentioned marker 1, marker 2 and marker 3. But, In my case I don't know how many markers will show. Sometimes 5, 50, 100 or may be more than 150. Thats why I have asked this question.

Last but not least I do not see the reason of fetching the data using the API and both have it also as a constant variable in your file.

Heatmap not working on FeatureLayer (ArcGIS JS API 4.8)

I tried my best but didn't get success to show heatmap on FeatureLayer with latest ArcGIS JavaScript API 4.8. My Code is located here.
I used HeatMapRenderer to render the point on the map as the heat map. But somehow it is not working at all. I think I am missing something which would be an easy fix.

I raised the question with Esri GeoNet Community and they answered it quite quickly. You can find detailed answers here.
Below is the answer:
Heatmap requires WebGL, which requires Feature Layer services that are hosted or 10.6.1+. Heatmap with a collection of graphics does not work at the moment.

The HeatmapRenderer only works with WebGL-enabled FeatureLayer, and at version 4.8 one of the limitations for WebGL-support is listed as:
Layers created from feature collections or client-side graphics are not supported. https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-layers-FeatureLayer.html#webgl-rendering
This limitation should hopefully go away at next release (version 4.9).
