I created a chart using chart.js and it works as expected. The problem is that I don't need the x axis labels (Speed). I looked at questions similar to this but none of them worked. How do you hide the x axis labels without removing or changing anything else in chart.js v3?
You can do 2 things, either supply an labels array with empty strings or use the tick callback to provide empty labels

Lets say I have a Donut chart with 5 items in data like this

I see two easy ways, how you could approach this problem:
(I personally I would use the second option below, it is more configurable, but it needs just abit of coding)
You can simply delete the labels you want to delete from the labels- array, and they won't show up in the legend.
But keep in mind you would have to change the order of the data and backgroundColor arrays, to match this change.

Better and cleaner (but some coding is needed), you can filter out label-items, you don't want to display, with the function array filter. (details can be found in the documentation)

here only the Top 3 labels (limiting the amount of labels with the variable maxLabelsToShow) will be shown (sort order is descending, but changing this is would be easy)

I am trying to achieve the Tooltip shown below in the first image. Inside of the tooltip I need to display the yAxes and xAxes data. The chart.js version I am using is 3.7.0

The chart.js documentation is quite hard for me to understand. Is there any guru that can explain to me.
Question: Why is my tooltip returning the yAxes data, that I return as a variable(label) as undefined?
Are there any other options I can use to make my chart look like the chart in the second picture?

yLabel and xLabel dont exist anymore on the tooltip, they are V2 syntax.
You can just axess the y object in the parsed section to get the y value. Then you can use the afterBody callback to show the x label like so:

I'm using Chart.JS v 2.9.3 to create a line chart
line-chart diagram to show the month-wise total of expenses of selected product
For example, if the user select XYZ product then this charts would show the monthly expenses [Jan-2021-Dec-2021]
and if that respective product expense only present Jan-2021 then it displays month on y-Axes at staring

As you can see, the points are stick to the y-axis. Is there a possibility to center the line chart when only one data is present in the diagram?
Chart.js does not support this kind of use case since it gives a distorted image of your chart since point and label don't align anymore. If you really want this you can check beforehand in your code if there is only 1 data point there. If this is the case add an empty string in your labels array in the front and back and add zero at the front of back of your data array (or a slightly lower value as your single datapoint so that the scales don't get big steps) like so:

I've got a problem with chart.js: When the first data value is set to 12, it isn't shown on the graph. It is just 0. When the second is also 12, it isn't shown either. But when I change the first value to 11, both are shown.

I am trying to plot a bar chart with multiple datasets on a time series, however some of the data gets lost along the way.
for simplicity I have removed the ajax call and plotted some data:-

using the above configuration dataset 1 point 1 and dataset 2 point 4 (so basically the first and last points) do not get drawn.
Any ideas where I am going wrong here?
Also I am using this time series version because I was hoping to have "gaps" in the chart, for example dataset 1 might have a series for 2017-03-01 and dataset 2 might not, in this case dataset 2's next date will bunch up to dataset 1's making it look like it does belong to that date.
Any help would be appreciated
I had the exact same issue when displaying a bar chart with time as the X axes.
Inside your xAxes you need to add an additional configuration option:
xAxes: [{
offset: true
}]
Description from the ChartJS documentation:
If true, extra space is added to the both edges and the axis is scaled to fit into the chart area. This is set to true in the bar chart by default.
