Get Device Time [duplicate] - javascript

Is there a straight forward way to get the device time using React Native?
Preferably using an API like so:
device.getCurrentTime()
The solutions I've seen online use a bunch of libraries and I don't like that especially to do something that just seems so common that it should be apart of the API.

You should be able to use
new Date();

I'm kind of new to javascript and I was wondering if there was a better alternative to slice. I'm currently using window.location.slice at the moment and it feels like I could be using a better alternative. If you've ever used express.js you might have heard of "req.query.id", something like that in raw javascript would be perfect. Thanks, Alek.

I want to detect that from which country and form which timezone my website is opened by user using java script or Jquery
Timezone is possible to get with Javascript alone, country is not possible without a third-party service or server-side process like GeoIP:
var timezone = new Date().toString().match(/\(([A-Z]+)\)$/).pop()

Suppose I want the exact value for 2^1000. How am I supposed to get the entire value? Maybe storing it in a string every time the multiplication is done, but it will still eventually go over 10 digits! Is there any way, or does ECMAScript just not support this?
Math.pow(2,1000)
returns
1.0715086071862673e+301
how accurate do you need this to be?

A good Javascript API reference documentation related to browsers and DOM
I've searched Google a bit & can't find a good reference for DOM/Javascript. What I would like is a page that shows lists of all the objects & if you click them you get to see which methods and attributes they have.
What one is your favorite?
Sort of like this one for actionscript:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/class-summary.html
I use this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/
I used this a while ago
