I've been searching the web for the right cross-platform (IOS & Android) AR framework to use with React Native but couldn't find any good up-to-date information on this, all I could find is old posts or backdated StackOverflow questions which are essentially worthless as this is such an evolving technology.
I'm working on a React Native mobile app in which a user should be able to take a picture of any object, and when someone scans that object it should be matched and verified with the previously saved object.
Can anyone share their experience with such projects using React Native or someplace I could find relevant up-to-date information?

Apparently according to this post , https://viromedia.com/viroreact is the kind of tool you are looking for. [didn't see the link in the comments, but this was mentioned before my post]
There's also https://facebook.github.io/react-360/, but last time I checked it was not yet very advanced.
The only experiences I had actually with mobile development of AR was with Unity3D which I don't know if you also considered to use or not, since it can produce mobile apps both for iOS and Android, and has amazing support for VR/AR apps.

I'm looking for a react component or a javascript library for creating flows/diagrams.
I need to customize and have various types of nodes.
There aren't many great flow and diagram libraries out there, and even fewer focus on React.
I suggest looking into a generic solution that integrates well with React.
If this is in a commercial context and/or your requirements are non-trivial, be sure to check out yFiles for HTML, which is the most powerful library available when it comes to sophisticated diagramming. It also comes with many React-specific diagramming features like the React Diagram Integration Demo. This allows you to use all the features in a React powered application.
Disclaimer: I work for the company that creates the mentioned library. I do not represent my employer on SO, though. This is my very own opinion.

Which JS library is used in Jira Workflow Designer? Looking for library for drawing dependencies on schemas [closed]

I'm looking for the JS library similar to the one used in Jira Workflow editor (example below).
I need to visualize dependencies between elements and probably(in the future) make it configurable by mouse (with drag'n'drop).
P.S. I've tried to detect name of this library within the Developer Console, but had no luck (probably it's Atlassian proprietary library).
If you have Jira you can explore it yourself: Project -> Administration -> Workflows
After looking at the JS source for the Workflow Designer in Atlassian JIRA in the console, it seems to be using a mixture of Atlassian developed code and a whole host of other libraries.
However, the drawing part at least seems to be extending functionality provided by Draw2D JS library. Another option for what you want to achieve could be Raphael JS which is also a JS drawing library.

How to add charts to a React.js app without using a totally different coding style? [closed]

Is there a charting library that jives with how React.js asks you to do things? It seems like the chart should be a component.
D3.js seems to be the most powerful charting library out there, but it requires a lot of direct DOM work, which is the exact opposite of React.
Would there be a way to get those two libraries to play nice with each other? If not, is there an alternative to D3 that does work well with React?
Checkout high charts react library. https://github.com/kirjs/react-highcharts
From personal experience, I have found that by far the best way to render charts in RN is via a WebView. I worked on a cross-platform solution for messaging between RN and the WebView: https://github.com/jjshammas/react-native-webview-bridge
Alternatively, you may want to look into ReactART, which is unfortunately generally undocumented when it comes to using it in ReactNative. It does have a very strong relationship with RN, though it does not have all of the functionality of traditional vector rendering libraries. There are several libraries which allow you to create very sophisticated presentations in web browser:
impress.js
Google slides
deck.js
Reveal.js
But the only way to edit these presentations is in code. Does anybody know one where the user can make edits on the fly in the browser?
And if so, if it is possible to get a representation of the presentation (i.e. in JSON) that could then be persisted?
Thanks.
Found Aloha Editor in Google, looks like it might do this (I've not tried it), allows you to edit impress.js presentations with WYSIWYG tools, no idea if you can save them but maybe you could save the raw HTML to persist them.
Blog about it: http://aloha-editor.org/blog/2012/04/impress-js-editable-with-wysiwyg-aloha-editor/
Demo: http://bit.ly/LZUaZP
Checkout http://strut.io/
It is open source and supports Impress, Bespoke and Handout.
Once can easily import/export JSON data.
An in-browser editor was recently released for reveal.js, you can try it here: http://www.rvl.io/
Old question, I know, but I was looking for the same today. Found this nice overview article covering tools, editors, libraries and overall technology around browser based presentations.

In the process of converting a .NET rich application to Javascript. One of the GUI features folks liked a lot was to rearrange their application layout. In .NET this was accomplished via Sandock:

Anything like this for Javascript?
The closest I know to that is the javascript library ExtJS. I've used it in a few projects very successfully since it allows you to create rich Web UIs very similar to windows UIs (or widgets).
The learning curve can be a bit steep though if you aren't that familiar with javascript, however the community is quick to respond and helpful.
If ExtJS is not your cup of tea, there is a rather nice jquery port of the same concept.
Demos here:
http://layout.jquery-dev.net/demos.cfm (particularly this)
I needed this very thing, and did not find any to my liking so I decided to write my own. It is almost complete, but you can check it out here:
Edit: Still being developed actively, but fully functional now.

If you are still looking for a javascript dock panel implmentation, I just created one myself. You can find it at https://github.com/developerDoug/HtmlJavascriptDockInVS2010
