Im using behaviourSubject RXJS, for interaction between component, I got 3 components, where
inquiry form
user enter id number to check summon, get summon and send to inquiry response
inquiry response
get summon from inquiry response and display summon in form of checkbox, then send selected summon (total amount) to payment component
payment component
get total summon from inquiry response and display it.
but the problem is when user reload the page on payment component data get from Behaviour Subject is empty, based on my finding, I found solution using localStorage, but its not applicable to me, also found about another state management library like ngrx, I am in middle of project, hard to me for implement, is there any better practice to solve this problem ?
this is what I had tried:

If storing the data locally isn't a solution then the easiest solution would be to store it in a database. Preferably one that doesn't require you to set up a backend on your own.
Firebase would provide a fast implementation for you as it only requires an initial setup and writing a few security rules so the correct user can access the data.
If you've never used Firebase before I would suggest having a look at #angular/fire which is the implementation for Angular. You can find its documentation here:

Reactive approach + Subject service in angular

iam trying to use reactive approach in my angular app, but i am not quiet sure, that i am using it correctly. So i have a few questions to clarify it.
In my app i have global status service(its subject service), which holds some basic state of the app - month and workload id selected by user(user can switch it in navbar).
On market page i display offers, which user can apply for. To get data i need, iam using observables from market service with async pipe - no manual subscription.
Here is part of market service:

And now my questions:
Is it Ok, to have these combined observables(loadedEvents, events) in service? Or they should be combined in component?
How to handle errors when iam using async pipe? For example in loadedEvents getter, iam using switchmap to call getOffers, which gets data from API. How to handle error if http call fails? I can use catchError, but than component wouldnt be notified about error. But i must catch this potential error cause otherwise it will break the whole observable and new data wont be loaded later. How to solve this problem?
Is the approach to create combined observable from loadedEvents and changes subject correct? Or how it should be done using reactive approach?
I have searched for articles on this topic, but most of them doesnt cover problems like error handling. So i would be grateful even for links to some good articles or example apps, so i can read more about this.

Should Token created when the user registers or login?

I have an API created by one of my team :),
And he made an endpoints "Register/Login"
his thought
When user create a user we save his data and the endpoint response it " without generating a Token"
so i can't navigate him to other screens cuz I make a request based on his Token,
So he wants me to navigate user after register to the login screen then Login endpoint will response the Token
But I think it's not a nice way and not improve UX.
So what you think we do?
generate Token in the register or log in?
The way I see this:
Solution 1:
You have him change the register API so that returns a token for you and you keep doing whatever you do with it.
Solution 2:
By registering, I'm assuming they type in a username/email, some personal details and a password!? So you have all the data to log the user in after registration. Upon successful registration, use the same username/email and password from memory (do not store them in browser storage) and call the login api to get the token (you only redirect after you've gotten the token) - so UX doesn't suffer here.
P.S. Instead of "fighting" one another over who's solution is better, try to work together in a solution. This is clearly an "I told you so" attempt - hence why I gave you two solution where both sides can do the work. Both of you can implement a solution without affecting UX, it's a matter of who's more stubborn :P

Torii provider name from adapter?

I have a Torii adapter that is posting my e.g. Facebook and Twitter authorization tokens back to my API to establish sessions. In the open() method of my adapter, I'd like to know the name of the provider to write some logic around how to handle the different types of providers. For example:

But, of course, this.provider.name is not correct. Is there a way to get the name of the provider used from inside an adapter method? Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I think there are a couple ways to do it. The first way would be to set the provider name in localStorage (or sessionStorage) before calling open(), and then use that value in the above logic. For example:

Another way is to create separate adapters for the different providers. There is code in Torii to look for e.g. app-name/torii-adapters/facebook-connect.js before falling back on app-name/torii-adapters/application.js. I'll put my provider-specific logic in separate files and that will do the trick. However, I have common logic for storing, fetching, and closing the session, so I'm not sure where to put that now.
UPDATE 2: Torii has trouble finding the different adapters under torii-adapters (e.g. facebook-connect.js, twitter-oauth2.js). I was attempting to create a parent class for all my adapters that would contain the common functionality. Back to the drawing board...
UPDATE 3: As #Brou points out, and as I learned talking to the Torii team, fetching and closing the session can be done—regardless of the provider—in a common application adapter (app-name/torii-adapters/application.js) file. If you need provider-specific session-opening logic, you can have multiple additional adapters (e.g. app-name/torii-adapters/facebook-oauth2.js) that may subclass the application adapter (or not).

I'm not an expert, but I've studied simple-auth and torii twice in the last weeks. First, I realized that I needed to level up on too many things at the same time, and ended up delaying my login feature. Today, I'm back on this work for a week.
My question is: What is your specific logic about?
I am also implementing provider-agnostic processing AND later common processing.
This is the process I start implementing:
User authentication.
Basically, calling torii default providers to get that OAuth2 token.
User info retrieval.
Getting canonical information from FB/GG/LI APIs, in order to create as few sessions as possible for a single user across different providers. This is thus API-agnotic.
➜ I'd then do: custom sub-providers calling this._super(), then doing this retrieval.
User session fetching or session updates via my API.
Using the previous canonical user info. This should then be the same for any provider.
➜ I'd then do: a single (application.js) torii adapter.
User session persistence against page refresh.
Theoretically, using simple-auth's session implementation is enough.
Maybe the only difference between our works is that I don't need any authorizer for the moment as my back-end is not yet secured (I still run local).
We can keep in touch about our respective progress: this is my week task, so don't hesitate!

Adding a user to PFRelation using Parse Cloud Code

I am using Parse.com with my iPhone app.
I ran into a problem earlier where I was trying to add the currently logged in user to another user's PFRelation key/column called "friendsRelation" which is basically the friends list.
The only problem, is that you are not allowed to save changes to any other users besides the one that is currently logged in.
I then learned, that there is a workaround you can use, using the "master key" with Parse Cloud Code.

This works great and I can successfully test this and add an NSString to a string column/key in the Parse database.
However, I do not know how to modify the Parse Cloud Code to let me add a user to another user's PFRelation column/key.
I have been trying everything for the past 2 hours with the above Parse Cloud Code I linked to and could not get anything to work, and then I realized that my problem is with the actual cloud code, not with how I'm trying to use it in xcode, because like I said I can get it to successfully add an NSString object for testing purposes.
My problem is that I do not know javascript and don't understand the syntax, so I don't know how to change the Cloud Code which is written in javascript.
I need to edit the Parse Cloud Code that I linked to above, which I will also paste below at the end of this question, so that I can add the currently logged in PFUser object to another user's PFRelation key/column.
The code that I would use to do this in objective-c would be:
[friendsRelation addObject:user];
So I am pretty sure it is the same as just adding an object to an array, but like I said I don't know how to modify the Parse Cloud Code because it's in javascript.

I would recommend that you rethink your data model, and extract the followings out of the user table. When you plan a data model, especially for a NoSQL database, you should think about your queries first and plan your structure around that. This is especially true for mobile applications, as server connections are costly and often introduces latency issues if your app performs lots of connections.
Storing followings in the user class makes it easy to find who a person is following. But how would you solve the task of finding all users who follow YOU? You would have to check all users if you are in their followings relation. That would not be an efficient query, and it does not scale well.
When planning a social application, you should build for scalabilty. I don't know what kind of social app you are building, but imagine if the app went ballistic and became a rapidly growing success. If you didn't build for scalability, it would quickly fall apart, and you stood the chance of losing everything because the app suddenly became sluggish and therefore unusable (people have almost zero tolerance for waiting on mobile apps).
Forget all previous prioities about consistency and normalization, and design for scalability.
For storing followings and followers, use a separate "table" (Parse class) for each of those two. For each user, store an array of all usernames (or their objectId) they follow. Do the same for followers. This means that when YOU choose to follow someone, TWO tables need to be updated: you add the other user's username to the array of who you follow (in the followings table), and you also add YOUR username to the array of the other user's followers table.
Using this method, getting a list of followers and followings is extremely fast.

How to check failed recurring subscription Stripe

How should I design an on-login middleware that checks if the recurring subscription has failed ? I know that Stripe fires events when things happen, and that the best practice is webhooks. The problem is, I can't use webhooks in the current implementation, so I have to check when the user logs in.
The Right Answer:
As you're already aware, webhooks.
I'm not sure what you're doing that webhooks aren't an option in the current implementation: they're just a POST to a publicly-available URL, the same as any end-user request. If you can implement anything else in Node, you can implement webhook support.
Implementing webhooks is not an all-or-nothing proposition; if you only want to track delinquent payments, you only have to implement processing for one webhook event.
The This Has To Work Right Now, Customer Experience Be Damned Answer:
A retrieved Stripe Customer object contains a delinquent field. This field will be set to true if the latest invoice charge has failed.
N.B. This call may take several seconds—sometimes into the double digits—to complete, during which time your site will appear to have ceased functioning to your users. If you have a large userbase or short login sessions, you may also exceed your Stripe API rate limit.
I actually wrote the Stripe support team an email complaining about this issue (the need to loop through every invoice or customer if you're trying to pull out delinquent entries) and it appears that you can actually do this without webhooks or wasteful loops... it's just that the filtering functionality is undocumented. The current documentation shows that you can only modify queries of customers or invoices by count, created (date), and offset... but if you pass in other parameters the Stripe API will actually try to understand the query, so the cURL request:

will look for only open invoices.... you can also pass a delinquent=true parameter in when looking for delinquent customers. I've only tested this in PHP, so returning delinquent customers looks like this:

The big caveat here is that because this filtering is undocumented it could be changed without notice... but given how obvious the approach is, I'd guess that it's pretty safe.
