Primeng icons not showing up on IE11 after creating prod build - javascript

I am creating an application with angular 6 and primeng. The problem I am facing is that primng icons such as calendar, dropdown arrow are visible when i run application with local build i.e ng serve but as soon as I create prod aot build the icons disappear on IE11.
I have tried making changes in polyfills file, have added 2 imports import 'es6-shim'and import 'web-animations-js' but have not got any success. IE security might be one of the reasons because as soon as I go to IE11 settings --> internet options--> security --> sites and uncheck "Include all local(intranet) sites not listed in other zones" check box then icons reappear on reloading.
I am not sure what to do will be great if anyone can provide solution.
Thanks.
Edit: Things are working fine in other browsers such as chrome and mozilla.
In IE11 internet options-->security--> select local internet then click on sites and after unchecking "Include all local(intranet) sites not listed in other zones" the icons reappear after reloading.

The problem is that you get your resources from site-server-zones which are not listed in your intranet-zone. Ask your system-manager, and rearrange your working site-zones.
It is hard to advise when I do not know your network configuration, and I do not want to know it, but in there is the problem.
It would be easier, just to test your application in Chrome, there you have also a lot of developer supporting tools (for example Ctrl+Shift+I)
And when you want to test the rest of the world, do a test-deployment.

My site doesnt open from iPhone (iOS 11)?

I have some problems with my website. My site is coded in HTML,CSS and JS.
Everywhere works perfect, Desktop (all browsers), Android (All browsers), in iPhone(iOS.11) doesn't work!!!
I think there may be two problems:
1. When i open the site, i have Loading Page script, and in iPhone it stops there and doesnt open the site.
2. The problem may also be with the new iOS 11, because with earlier iOS(10) was working very well.
Any suggestion, or any site which i can check my errors (debugg) or..?
google didn't solve my problem so i decided to ask, but still can't find the problem!!!
Thanks.
If you have an OSX available you can enable remote debug and see what's happening, most likely something is breaking based on something not being available.

spoof Plugins for Chrome

Is it possible to spoof Chrome plugins?
I noticed that their names are stored in Preferences and Local State file in /Users/mainuser/Library/Application\ Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Preferences and /Users/mainuser/Library/Application\ Support/Google/Chrome/Local\ State respectively (on Mac), but manually changing the contents of these files gets treated as file corruption. Any idea how to spoof it?
Plugin information are publicly available and are easily inspected with something like this:
var x=navigator.plugins.length; // store the total no of plugin stored
console.log(x);
var txt="";
for(var i=0;i<x;i++)
{
txt=navigator.plugins[i].name;
console.log(txt);
}
I assume you want to modify an extension that you have installed on your machine in order to improve it.
You can use the Developer Mode and load the modified extension:
Extensions that you download from the Chrome Web Store are packaged up
as .crx files, which is great for distribution, but not so great for
development. Recognizing this, Chrome gives you a quick way of loading
up your working directory for testing. Let's do that now.
Visit chrome://extensions in your browser (or open up the Chrome menu
by clicking the icon to the far right of the Omnibox: The menu's icon
is three horizontal bars. and select Extensions under the Tools menu
to get to the same place).
Ensure that the Developer mode checkbox in the top right-hand corner
is checked.
Click Load unpacked extension… to pop up a file-selection dialog.
Navigate to the directory in which your extension files live, and
select it.
Alternatively, you can drag and drop the directory where your
extension files live onto chrome://extensions in your browser to load
it.
If the extension is valid, it'll be loaded up and active right away!
If it's invalid, an error message will be displayed at the top of the
page. Correct the error, and try again.
Paranoid about browser fingerprinting I guess.
If you want hide navigator.plugins list, see this plugin :
https://github.com/bcaller/plugin-privacy-chrome
See content.js#L27 :
properties.plugins = vecw({}, true);
The "real" fix is to stop the enumeration of plugins for everybody, so there is no fingerprint information (after everyone upgrades):
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=271772
If you hide navigator.plugins, that is also an identifying (single bit) feature that will make you stand out since there will be very few users who hide navigator.plugins. Which is why you'd want to spoof.
From another answer, from #Hors Sujet, https://github.com/bcaller/plugin-privacy-chrome is a great place to start how to program a spoof. You'll want to look like the vast majority of Chrome users (I'm not sure that actually exists, though.)
But what you likely really want is EFF's Privacy Badger.
Start here to see the number of bits you can be fingerprinted by:
https://panopticlick.eff.org/
And then install Privacy Badger from here:

Print website (chrome and angular) is not working (blank)

My website system is running on chrome 37+ and using Angular.js and bootstrap.
For some reason, I can't print my website.
When i try to print my website (using the browser print dialog), I usually get a blank print preview ("can not load print preview"). Sometimes it is not blank, but not really show my website.
I tried to run my website on some google chrome versions and some computers and it is not working.
I have been searching for reasons, but can't find one that will fix this issue.
Let my know for reasons for this issue. Thank you.
Chrome actually does have emulation of printing. See
You'll find this in a tab adjacent to console within developer tools. By enabling CSS media on print, you'll see your site with any print media applied. Once enabled, you may use the element inspection as usual to see how those extra css rules affect your site.
In particular, bootstrap will remove any background, and run a bunch of defaults across many typical elements.

CSS and JS fail when upgrade made to Drupal site

I've run into an issue that crops up when I make a change to a Drupal site - www.productworld.com
This is how the problem crops up:
Make a change to site, e.g. add javascript tracking code or adding a new static webpage.
When NOT logged in as admin (viewing the site as a regular visitor), the homepage is now screwed up. It appears that the CSS and JavaScript for the homepage aren't loaded. When logged in as an admin, I see a cached version of the site, looking as it should. I use two separate browsers to confirm the problem - one where I'm logged in as Drupal admin in Chrome, and two where I view the site in Firefox as a non-logged in site visitor.
Here's some screenshots of what the site looks like when the problem crops up:

http://imgur.com/wMBVq
http://imgur.com/Gksb9
http://imgur.com/eZPTE
Note: the company images that you see (iWatt, Roal, Assa Abloy etc) should be in a nodequeue (a jQuery image slideshow), but instead they appear one after the other. The blue box with the gold call to action appears way down the page. This is what leads me to believe that the CSS and JS isn't loading.
3.Clearing the Drupal cache fixes the issue.
It's obviously highly undesirable to have a site that gets screwed up everytime a simple change is made to it.
If anyone has run into a similar issue, please let me know.
Thanks.
When you make changes to the site with caching enabled it will cause problems. This is because it will be using some cached copies of earlier files.
I tend to make changes to a development version of the site, then roll them out to the live site and clear the cache.

HTML5 Drag and Drop styles not displaying on Windows Server 2003

I'm working on a file upload utility based on Valum's Ajax-Uploader. The idea is similar to the Gmail attachment process. The user should be able to drag a file from the desktop into the browser window and onto the file upload area to get it to upload. This works fine in the browsers that support this functionality (Firefox 3.6+, Chrome 7+).
The problem I'm running into are the styles that should be re-drawn when the user:
Drags the file anywhere in the browser
Drags the file into the upload area
I have tested in the exact same browser versions on WinXP, Vista, and Win7. The appropriate styles are redrawn. However, in Windows Server 2003, they do not.
In Win2003, when I inspect the div that should be redrawn via Firebug, the "drop-area" and "drop-area-active" classes are applied correctly. Firebug even shows the correct style declarations, but the changes are never visible.
The only difference between FF and Chrome that I'm able to spot is that in Chrome, the "drop-area-active" style is displayed for a split second when the user drops the file.
I'm not positive that it is a Windows2003 issue, but that's the only OS in which I'm able to recreate the bug.
Edit:
If you're running Win2k3, try the Gmail drag'n'drop functionality. I can see the alternate styles in other OS's, but not Win2k3.
Edit #2:
Still seeing this issue in many different places. Anyone have any suggestions? I have submitted this as a bug to the Chromium Project. Issue 68632.
