I'm trying to get this code to work, I'm trying to make a game where you click on disappearing rectangles, and have made some good progress, but my issue is that when the rectangle disappears the 'hitbox' for it is still there, so to speak.
I'm still new with canvases, but I think it has something to do with the clearRect method on context, but I'm not sure. Here's my code:

You never remove any elements what so ever.
Try adding a console.log(elements.length); inside myLoop and watch as the counter goes up and up :)
One quickfix is just to reassign elements to an empty array in the top of addElements

I deleted some unnecessary parts in my opinion but if I'm wrong and I missed something I'll try to fix it
Here are a few simple ways you can improve performance:
Commenting out shadowBlur gives a noticeable boost. If you need shadows, see this answer which illustrates pre-rendering.
Try using fillRect and ctx.rotate() instead of drawing a path. Saving/rotating/restoring the canvas might be prohibitive, so you could use non-rotated rectangles.
Consider using a smaller canvas which is quicker to repaint than one that may fill the entire window.
Another issue is more subtle: Fireworks and Exps are being created (making objects is expensive!) and pushed onto arrays. But these arrays are never trimmed and objects are never reused after they've left the visible canvas. Eventually, the rendering loop gets bogged down by all of the computation for updating and rendering every object in the fireAr and expAr arrays.
A naive solution is to check for objects exiting the canvas and splice them from the expAr. Here's pseudocode:

Iterate backwards since this mutates the array's length. inBounds is a function that checks an Exp object's x and y properties along with its size and the canvas width and height to determine if it has passed an edge. More pseudocode:

This check isn't exactly correct since the rectangles are rotated. You could check each corner of the rectangle with a pointInRect function to ensure that at least one is inside the canvas.
Fireworks can be spliced out when they "explode".
splice is an expensive function that walks up to the entire array to shift items forward to fill in the vacated element. Splicing multiple items in a loop gives quadratic performance. This can be made linear by putting surviving fireworks in a new list and replacing the previous generation on each frame. Dead firework objects can be saved in a pool for reuse.
Beyond that, I strongly recommend using clear variable names.

These names have little or no meaning to an outside reader and are unlikely to mean much to you if you take a couple months away from the code. Use full words like "size", "width", etc.
Another side point is that it's a good idea to debounce your window resize listener.

The Javascript is below, in the increase function there is an if command that should prevent the user's mouse from leaving the screen, but it doesn't work. Also, right when the page loads it should start adding the score, but instead it only starts after a click. I don't see any reason for this to happen:

You just need a mouseout event listener, simple!
But first, you need to track the mouse on the mousemove, to prevent starting the game by clicking first. I have an example below.

Use that instead of the mousedown event listener.
Second, to fix the problem of stopping the game upon mouseout.
Here is an example

My suggestion is to track whether the mouse is in the document or not, and use that in your if statement as well. This code will track whether the mouse is in the document (or use a selector for your game-screen element if it's not the full height and width of the document):

As already pointed out in a comment, here more precisely:
First of all, the background picture must be rendered first in every animation frame.
However, the picture didn't show up at all. This is due to the fact that variable was used (backgroundY), which is never declared somewhere.
This should actually printed to the console as an error "backgroundY" is not defined.
Whenever an the property src of an image object is set to a value, it takes some time until it's loaded. So in many cases, it's necessary to indicate the moment, when it's finished loading by the onload callback.
In this case, however, it's not necessary. The tick / animation loop function will just draw nothing (an empty image object) until it's loaded. After it's loaded it will continue to draw the loaded image every frame.
If the background is really important, meaning, the app should only start, when it's there, of course, one can only start the whole game / animation from within the img.onload handler.
You must draw:
the background first
the player later
level/score info last
Background < Player < UI < You Looking
The drawing order is from back to top (painters algorithm)
Also note that for performance reasons if you background never changes you could draw it in another 'static' canvas under the game canvas.
Otherwise the background will be drawn above/over the player and hide it.
The title might be misleading but that is the best I could come up with for a summary of my question.
Anyways, I need to figure out how to make a list, or a container, in this case a plain rectangle that contains a list of items, which can be dragged up and down in order to reveal other items in the container. In a way it would resemble a constrained div with a slider bar, but without the slider.
Now, I have an idea on using KonvaJS, former KineticJS to put all the items in the container in a group, and make the group draggable in certain directions, etc.
However the catch is that the sliding of the elements top or down should not only be on drag, but on flick also. So if you kind of flick your finger/mouse upwards the list would keep sliding by, until the end, where the speed would vary based on the flick intensity. If determining the flick intensity or speed is too complicated, then just any type of flick would need to slide the whole list to the bottom, or top.
So this should kind of resemble the standard vertical slide widgets you have on your android or ios. Now do you have any ideas on how I can proceed with this, or how would you go about this. Any ideas are welcome.

I guess that when you talk about "flick" you actually mean "scroll".
Edit : Missed the point of the question, also missed the [konvajs] tag. But here is a way to do it without any library, hoping it may help someone coming this way.
The simplest idea is to make two objects, a container and a content, each one with a canvas.
On mouse's wheel event, update the content position, then redraw its canvas to the container's one or if you need to handle drag, listen to the mousemove event, set a dragging flag to true, that you remove on mouseup. On mousemove update the position after you calculated the moving speed by checking the last event's timestamp and the new one's. Then on mouseup, start an animation that will decrease the speed of your movement :

After each circle object is created, it should increase in size while the mouse is down, and stop when mouse is up. clearInterval doesn't seem to reach the internal variable "growLoop" even though it's supposed to be global by declaring it first(which was the advice on many other posts about this same issue). In the console it shows growLoop undefined, but it's defined in line 95, right?
Also, the time interval seems to decrease with every new circle created, and they grow faster. How could the value of setInterval change?

By adding var here you are declaring an internal variable also named growLoop and not assigning to the global. Remove var.
