jquery.js: Uncaught ReferenceError: connect is not defined - javascript

I run this code on a website with a database, this interacts with the ambiance.js , jquery.js (3.2.1) and socket.js but I believe this requires some other dependency that I omitted.

Actually, you created the connect() function inside the request function (which wasn't called yet):
Just move it outside and it should work.

NodeJS Cannot find module 'io' ( socket.io with express 4.15.3)

I am new in NodeJS. I am trying to run simple chat application with express and socket.io module, but when I run application, on the page where I am using socket, on console I am getting this error, and can't understand the problem. on web page I am getting this (see attached image)

Actually I have found this example in internet ( https://github.com/socketio/socket.io/tree/master/examples/chat ), and try to join it to my project.For view I am using EJS. First you need to install packages using below command
npm install
This command will install all the packages from your package.json once done you can run this program.
did you install socket.io using npm. if not try
npm install --save socket.io

I removed this code

Socket.io: emit from client does not work

I'm trying to emit an event on the client, but the server does not respond at all. A message does not appear in the console ('Received!'), the following event is not initiated. The event must emit when the button is clicked. Other actions, such as outputting a message to the console, work fine, but the event does not start. What is the problem? Сonnection events work properly.

When I run the server and client logs 'someone connected', but not the party object I send...
Client is an chrome extension and the server a node.js 'file'.
I don't think using some of that code is needed, other than that have you port forwarded?

alert() is not the best option for debug.

PeerJS peer not receiving data

I intend to use PeerJs to create P2P connections (data and later video).

The Connection is open message showed, but the Data and connected messages never.
Can you tell me what I should change?
It seems that I forgot to add another callback.
It is sooo good that JS compiles without a problem, even when callbacks are missing... piece of g*rbage...

The logging in part works just fine, I could logging in onto the dashboard.
But the second step, the tweeting step throw an error

this works, but it only tweet : "Compose new Tweet"
as if the text never change.
So my question is, did I do something wrong or this is some kind of bug? If so, is that a workaround? Thank you in advance.
First of all, use fillSelectors() or fillXPath() methods for filling forms.
And make sure that selector 'div#tweet-box-mini-home-profile.tweet-box.rich-editor.notie' is correct.
