How to properly use jQuery.sap.log.debug instead of console.log in SAPUI5 v.1.38.39?

About environment:
The used framework: SAPUI5
version: 1.38.39
development environment: sap web-ide
reproductible with OpenUI5 v.1.38
About Issue :
Recommendation from UI5 : to don't use console.log("message")
Proposition from UI5: use jQuery.sap.log.debug("message") instead, documentation here
expected result : see the "message" in the console from chrome debugger"
actual result : Don't see the "message" in the console"
Code part :
on my controller :
onInit: function(){
jQuery.sap.log.debug('onInit fired'); // display nothing in chrome console
console.log('onInit fired'); // display "onInit fired" in chrome console
},
Question:
Does someone has a solution or idea for solve this problem ?
Remark:
My question is probably simple, but i didn't find any solution
nowhere, and I am new to UI5, so I am asking here, thank you for your help and
comprehension.
If someone also can tell me why this question (the only one I asked so far) lock me to ask further questions, I think the post respect this ? Thank you for your feedback
Did you set the log level to DEBUG?
If not try to add :
jQuery.sap.log.setLevel(jQuery.sap.log.Level.DEBUG)
Also, is there any particular reason you are using 1.38 and not something more recent?

Add HyperLink With Word JavaScript API

I'm having difficulties to add an HyperLink to my Word Document using the Javascript API. I've look to Doc and I can't find any hints how to accomplish my duty...
Here is my Question: What is the best way to add an HyperLink inside a Word Document using the Javascript API.
And Here is what I tried:
Word.run((context: Word.RequestContext) => {
var range = context.document.getSelection();
context.load(range, "hyperlink");
return context.sync().then(() => {
range.font.highlightColor = '#FFFF00';
range.hyperlink = "C:\My Documents\MyFile.doc";
}).then(context.sync);
});
I've added the highlightColor just to have a visual that my changes are being sync. Everything seems fine but the Hyperlink property is not being updated. Am I missing something?
And If you guys are wondering what's this syntax, I'm using TypeScript.
Good, if you don't mind i will reply in JavaScript :)
Setting a hyperlink to a file must work (provided that the file exists :) ). I have this simplified example working successfully, btw you don't need to load the range for setting this.
Also hyperlinks is now supported as preview, so please make sure that you are running an updated (latest) version of Word (go file and install updates) and most importantly make sure you are using the preview CDN for Office.js which is here: https://appsforoffice.microsoft.com/lib/beta/hosted/office.js
Word.run(function(context) {
// Insert your code here. For example:
context.document.getSelection().hyperlink = "C:\My Documents\MyFile.doc";
return context.sync();
});

Selenium/VBA/Javascript: Trigger Mouse Event

I have some Webdriver (java) code that I am looking to translate to VBA. The code is as follows:
WebElement pos1 = LiloTest.driver.findElement(By.id("autoAssocitionForm:categoryDetailCombinationId:23"));
JavascriptLibrary jsLib = new JavascriptLibrary();
jsLib.callEmbeddedSelenium(LiloTest.driver,"triggerMouseEventAt", pos1,"click", "0,0");
I am trying to run the equivalent in VBA, utilizing the Selenium type library, but I am not quite sure how to make it work. I have tried using the "ExecuteScript" method, but have not had much luck. Part of the problem is that I can't see any javascript when looking at the page source, etc., for the element in question.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I was able to figure it out:
JsTest = "document.getElementById('autoAssocitionForm:categoryDetailCombinationId:23').checked = true;"
Set Pos = bot.FindElementById("autoAssocitionForm:categoryDetailCombinationId:23")
Pos.ExecuteScript (JsTest)

Error "validate_display:255 error 3008 (EGL_BAD_DISPLAY)" by Toutorial

I'm new to javascript and android and I want to program a multi page app with SAPUI5. For this I found a tutorial:
https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/sdk/#docs/guide/df86bfbeab0645e5b764ffa488ed57dc.html
which works fine, up to Walk through - Step 8. I have exactly the same source code in my project, but it doesn't work. I get following errors:
E/Zygote: MountEmulatedStorage()
E/Zygote: v2
E/SELinux: [DEBUG] get_category: variable seinfo: default sensitivity: NULL, cateogry: NULL
E/SysUtils: ApplicationContext is null in ApplicationStatus
E/libEGL: validate_display:255 error 3008 (EGL_BAD_DISPLAY)
E/AndroidProtocolHandler: Unable to open asset URL: file:///android_asset/i18n/i18n_de_DE.properties
I know the first and the second, but I don't find information for the rest.
Does anybody know where they come from and how to solve it?
Answere:
I don't know what the problem actually was. I tried with the SDK-versions and get many many gradle errors. After I solved it, I used the code out of Step 7 an added only the yellow colored lines and delete what was to delete.
Not related to sapui
Don't know whether it will help others or not.
I've got this error when I was trying to open a pdf file in webview by using google docs.
I've changed
webView.loadUrl(url);
to
webView.loadUrl("http://docs.google.com/gview?embedded=true&url=" + url);
and it worked.
The last error seems to occur because the file /android_asset/i18n/i18n_de_DE.properties is either not there or maybe locked?
Maybe you misspelled it?
The EGL_BAD_DISPLAY error could have something to do with the DPI. Maybe this link helps:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2212632
I had the same issue when I tried to load webview on Dialog. If I load webview on activity, it works well.
I had the same problem, some time pdf load or some time not.
try this solved my problem.
public void onPageFinished(WebView view, String url) {
super.onPageFinished(view, url);
if(view.getContentHeight() == 0){
view.reload();
} else {
pDialog.dismiss();
}
}

How can I decode this obfuscated javascript?

I am in the process of setting up a blog through blogger.com and used a template from veethemes.com to get me started.
However, I noticed that there's an obfuscated script in the template and I'd prefer to know what it does to ensure that nothing untowards or unwanted is being done.
The code is as follows:

var _0x378a=["k E(s,n){y s.w(/<\/?(?!S\s*\/?)[a-z][a-T-9]*[^<>]*>/L,"").K(/\s+/).17(0,n-1).Z(' ')}k 11(e,t,n,h,c,b,q){5 r=j.f(e);5 i=j.f(n);5 c=c;5 b=b;5 s="";5 o=r.19("A");5 a=X;5 p="";5 16="u.M(W.8, '10', '12=Y, 13=14, 18=x, 15=x, O, N'); y P;";I(o.Q>=1){s='<3 6="V-U"><a 8="'+t+'"><A 6="R" v="'+o[0].v.w(/s\B\d{2,4}/,'s'+1o)+'" 1q=""/></a></3>';a=1s}5 g='<3 6="1r"><3 6="1t"><3 6="C"><7 6="1a">'+b+'</7><7 6="1p"><a 8="'+t+'#1m">'+c+'</a></7></3><D><a 8="'+t+'">'+n+'</a></D><3 6="C 1f"><7 6="q">1e 1n '+q+'</7><7 6="h">1d '+h+'</7></3></3>'+s+'<3 6="1b"><p>'+E(r.m,a)+' [.....]</p></3></3>';r.m=g};u.1c=k(){5 e=j.f("1g");I(e==1h){u.1l.8="J://F.G.l"}e.H("8","J://F.G.l/");e.H("1k","1j");e.m="1i.l"}","|","split","|||div||var|class|span|href|||tag|comment|||getElementById||date||document|function|com|innerHTML||||author||||window|src|replace|24|return||img||meta|h2|stripTags|www|veethemes|setAttribute|if|http|split|ig|open|resizable|scrollbars|false|length|article_img|br|z0|media|post|this|summary_noimg|550|join|windowName|rm|width|height|600|top|popup|slice|left|getElementsByTagName|article_tags|article_excerpt|onload|on|posted|post_meta|attri_bution|null|VeeThemes|dofollow|rel|location|comments|by|700|article_comments|style|article_container|summaryi|article_header","","fromCharCode","replace","\w+","\b","g"];
If I remove the script, the site breaks in certain places like Read More no longer cuts off the article on the home page and post headers are no longer visible, etc.
Any help in decoding this or tips on tools that may be available that would help me would be much appreciated.
Just remove eval in the code and throw it in the developer console.
