How to use CSS transitions with <text> elements? - javascript
I'm making a graph using svg, and want to make things looks pretty.
In my graph, I have a <circle> with <text> inside it, and the circle move around.
I used transitions to make my circle move pretty, but can't use it with <text> tags The text goes out of the circle, while the circle is moving.
What I can do so the text follow the circle element?

You need to be a bit cautious about using SVG presentation attributes and animating them with CSS. For example, your problem description only applies to Chrome. In Firefox, both the circle and the text jump.
Best to use only CSS style properties, in this case transform. In addition, you can group elements together so that only one animation is needed:

Turns out that IE11 and Edge do not support CSS transforms on SVG elements.
My workaround was to use both CSS Transform and Transform attribute, that way all browsers shows the circle and text right position (IE wasn't positioning it at all), but only the animations doesn't work in IE/Edge.

You can also achieve a pulsing without JS, using CSS animations. How the Se7ensky animation works is that it uses the standard dash animation technique, but clips the animated stroke with an outline representing the hand-drawn look of the logo. So the standard dash animation technique works as follows. SVG "circle" element radius attribute "r" does not transition in Firefox but does just fine in Chrome
I'm trying to make an SVG circle bigger on a click event and it works just fine in Chrome 52 (haven't tried it on older versions) but in Firefox the CSS transition has no effect. Is there a way to make Firefox behave the same way as Chrome without too much JavaScript? In SVG 1.1, which is the current standard, only certain attributes can by styled with CSS. The list of those properties can be found here: SVG 1.1 property index Note that r is not in this list. In the upcoming SVG2 standard, most attributes will be stylable. But browsers have only just started to implement SVG2 features. Right now you can modify and transition r in Chrome, but not yet in other browsers. You will need to use another technique to animate r. Either using SVG SMIL animation, or use one of the various SVG JS libraries that have animation functions.

You will need to be more specific about what exactly you have tried and what is not working. However, this should get you started. I have for example a svg path that it looks like a circle. I tried to make it animate more than once by using a for loop. but it does not work. A transition can only go between two styles.
