GMail API with JS AJAX calls - javascript

We use a common student information system to manage our school. It is easily customized on the client side, and there are a couple of places where we'd like to trigger an e-mail when some action happens (form submission, page loaded, etc). It is not possible to use server-side programming languages like PHP, ASP, or Java.
What we'd like to do is use an AJAX call to send the e-mail. I have this working entirely in JavaScript, but I have to be logged in with the GMail account form which I want to send. We need to this be authenticated once (or as long as the bearer token is valid) and then send off e-mails once the user action happens.
Since the client-side languages seem to be able to hit those endpoints and send an e-mail off without the sending account being "logged in" in a browser session, this seems possible to me. Is it?
I also realize that creating a server-side script that uses GMail as an SMTP relay is an option, but many schools who use Google Apps For Education simply don't have a web server on site that can host such a script. A client-side plugin is really what we want to build.

You can try this, just replace the CLIENT_ID value:
The scope for this is readonly but I you can change based on the operations you need to perform.
<html>
<head>
<script type="text/javascript">
// Your Client ID can be retrieved from your project in the Google
// Developer Console, https://console.developers.google.com

Trying to follow the Google Sheets javascript quickstart tutorial, getting "not a valid origin" and "api key not valid"

I'm following this tutorial: https://developers.google.com/sheets/api/quickstart/js
I've done everything specified in the tutorial, even tried specifically allowing port 433 as that is the https port for my host (Bluehost).
I get one of two errors each time I try to load the site:
"API key not valid. Please pass a valid API key."
or
"idpiframe_initialization_failed" - "Not a valid origin for the client..."
I verified that the API key was correct, and verified that my domain was listed as a javascript origin.
I tried various solutions on stackoverflow including clearing cache, hard reload, using another browser, completely re-creating the project and credentials. No luck.
This is the last thing holding up development of my project, I'd greatly appreciate any insight.
Here's the code (it's exactly the same as the tutorial, just with my keys inserted):

Gmail API authentication with given user ID

Do we have a way to manually enter email id and password for the authentication in gmail api and avoid the google popup that is given by default.

Authorization is mandatory, you can get the access using 2 ways
Create the credential.json with required details like token and other it will create a project in your google cloud account. if it related to any organisation keep in mind that you need to have permissions to create a project in google cloud platform. if it belongs individual you can get easily.
reference: https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/quickstart/js -- js
reference: https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/quickstart/python -- python
for other languages hit on link and select from there
2. either get the service account with required permission

Contact us Page In web site ////with html and javascript

I'm developing Website here. I create Contact Us Page.
So I won't To know code for customer can fill them's details like Mobile number, email id and messages will send on my mail with using "SMTP" in JavaScript.
Here Design is already created....
Thanks...
You can't send an email using JavaScript.
You can only open a mailto link, so the users mail client opens (additional with a predefined subject and body)
window.open('mailto:test#example.com?subject=subject&body=body');
Have you searched for "javascript send email" on Stackoverflow?

Sending Emails In Javascript
Firstly,If you want to send email via email clients you can use mailto: in your html code without javascript. It will redirect automatically to default email client of your os but If you want send email without email clients you can use gmail api or other apis for this task then javascript part is easy. Ok Let's look at how can you do this with gmail api
Google Developer Console and apply your app for gmail api, after got credentials then create your Contact Us Page
I will give you example from google

Javascript Google Classroom API - Get course homework

Right now I have the google classroom API working fine to get the name and section for each course that I have. I want to get the homework in a list for each course. How can I do this?
I currently have:
// Your Client ID can be retrieved from your project in the Google
// Developer Console, https://console.developers.google.com
var CLIENT_ID = '<CLIENTID>';
var SCOPES = ["https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.courses.readonly"];
/**
* Check if current user has authorized this application.
*/
function checkAuth() {
gapi.auth.authorize(
{
'client_id': CLIENT_ID,
'scope': SCOPES.join(' '),
'immediate': true
}, handleAuthResult);
}
/**
* Handle response from authorization server.
*
* #param {Object} authResult Authorization result.
*/
function handleAuthResult(authResult) {
var authorizeDiv = document.getElementById('authorize-div');
if (authResult && !authResult.error) {
// Hide auth UI, then load client library.
authorizeDiv.style.display = 'none';
loadClassroomApi();
} else {
// Show auth UI, allowing the user to initiate authorization by
// clicking authorize button.
authorizeDiv.style.display = 'inline';
}
}
/**
* Initiate auth flow in response to user clicking authorize button.
*
* #param {Event} event Button click event.
*/
function handleAuthClick(event) {
gapi.auth.authorize(
{client_id: CLIENT_ID, scope: SCOPES, immediate: false},
handleAuthResult);
return false;
}
/**
* Load Classroom API client library.
*/
function loadClassroomApi() {
gapi.client.load('classroom', 'v1', listCourses);
}
/**
* Print the names of the first 10 courses the user has access to. If
* no courses are found an appropriate message is printed.
*/
function listCourses() {
var request = gapi.client.classroom.courses.list({
pageSize: 10
});
request.execute(function(resp) {
var courses = resp.courses;
if (courses.length > 0) {
for (i = 0; i < courses.length; i++) {
var course = courses[i];
var div = document.createElement('div');
div.className = 'class="col-md-4"';
div.innerHTML = '<div class="col-md-4"> \
<div class="jumbotron"> \
<h2>' + course.name + '</h2> \
<p>' + course.section + '</p> \
</div> \
</div> \
</div>';
document.getElementById('output').appendChild(div);
}
} else {
appendPre('No courses found.');
}
});
}
/**

I can't confirm if the Javascript client of Google API already has the Classroom API functionalities (since its still in Beta), but you can try to call out
gapi.client.[classroom/classroom.courses].courseWork.list({..parameters..},function(){...callback...});
Or, call the REST API directly in Javascript, without using the JS client.

gapi.client.setApiKey undefined?

I am trying to build a safari extension using the Google Javascript API. I am trying to follow the following guide.
https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/quickstart/js
Currently debugger is failing on the handleClientLoad with error "TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'gapi.auth.authorize')".
Not sure what is causing this as I am following Google own example.
