Facebook 'like' button in Firefox 42 Browser not showing up - javascript

I have put 'like' buttons on various pages of my website according to the Facebook guidelines. I see them all perfectly in I.E, Chrome, Opera, and Safari - all of which are up to date versions. However, when I check in Firefox, which is up to date with version 42, the "like' buttons are not there, and do not load on a refresh. Any fix for this... thanks

Put in your web site then look to the left of the address bar. If you see a shield click it and it gives you the option to 'Disable Protection'. A feature that FF gave us but didn't bother to tell us they did.

FB Like button and like box can be seen only if you disable the protection on the left side of the Firefox search bar (you can do it clicking on the shield icon). Pretty annoying and not good for business at all. I hope Firefox improves itself as soon as possible and I also hope people aren't upgrading older versions of it. Really bad indeed

Wrong clickable area of a button on mobile

This is my website.
I'm currently working on multi-choice filters, or rather on resetting them. There is no problem on PC.
Click the X button and it clears the filter
But the same simple thing doesn't work like this on mobile devices. I don't understand why.
You need to click an area below the X button, well below, to dismiss the filter.
This is how you need to click to make it work
Also, I just realized that when clicking like this there is an error in the console.
Error in the console after successful dismissing
I'm testing the mobile behavior in Opera (PC version, last update) using the Inspector with mobile simulation; the device is irrelevant. You can try it too.
The same behavior occurs on an actual android, both in Chrome and Opera.
Side notes!
If you activate the dropdown search in any multichoice field, while it's visible, the close buttons work perfectly well and precisely on mobiles. (Although the behavior of this dropdown panel is weird too. It does not always drops down when focusing on a field, as it does on PC.)
When I tried to locate the close button using the console and Jquery and then applied .click(), it worked. So I guess the problem doesn't lie in JS.
If you want to test it on a phone choose the Desktop site. On the mobile view, though, another peculiar thing occurs-the blue X button to the right of the field doesn't work.
PS. I've been wracking my brains for 3 hours to solve this mystery, yet no result. Please help!
The culprit was the "chosen" plugin. Don't use this crappy plugin. They simply don't support mobile devices and have tons of bugs.
I switched to Select2 and everything is great.

chrome on android : my webpages sometimes appears to be full black - need to ex rotate to get it shown?

got this really odd and frustrating issue on my android tablet/android phone, got a webapp (html5/javascript/css) that works fine on chrome desktop - but on mobile and tablet chrome, it happens all too often that when i click into a new page, then the output in the browser is just a pure black page.
What i then can do is to either rotate the device so the screen switches orientation and then the page appears like magic, or i can ex press the multi-tab button and then just click back and it shows.
So it somehow seems to be about redrawing not reloading the page.
Its not everytime it happens but it happens quite alot and i get nothing in debugging or any hints to what is going on.
Looked through the internet for similar issues and there are a few but they are either not replied or they are focused around some youtube issues back some time, or very old issues (2011/2012) - nothing that really points into the problem here.
Anyone have any idea here or input to how i can fix this without having the user to rotate the screen all the time ? its really affecting the usage.
note 1: it is quite heavy on some places on javascript so its not just a standard webpage
note :running latest android latest chrome on android
Look here. It's the same bug.:
How to fix black screen on Google Chrome mobile load page
The bug got fixed Feb 28: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=933374
But it doesn't seem to have made it in the next version of Chrome Android: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/72.0.3626.105..72.0.3626.121?pretty=fuller&n=10000
But the next version again should release with the bug fix (mid April?).
Meanwhile, did you find an easy js workaround for this issue?
Our site is currently useless until this bug-fix get released for Chrome Android?

Hide address bar in Android Chrome automatically

I am opening a simple web on Chrome for Android. I need to hide the address bar without user interaction. I tried the window.scrollTo(0, 1) method, which isn't working. I think the newer browsers don't support it, but I installed Chrome 36 and it still didn't work there. I know that is a hack. But the whole web page I am displaying is a hack and I can't do anything about that. I can't use other browsers. I can't use fullscreen, because that requires user interaction. I can't make it into progressive app.
As soon as I manually scroll, the address bar disappears. So I thought maybe I could somehow simulate that. But I am lost with ideas.
I doubt you would be able to hide it since that would be a risk to the security of the Android user.

Chrome browser not working as expected (onclick/onsubmit error?)

Here is one strange thing. Thanks for ideas.
My Chrome browser does not interact with some web pages as expected. When opening the pages on a different device (such as Browserstack or colleages' computers), everything works fine. There must be a problem with my device, it is obviously not linked to the browser version itself.
Example 1: click on element does not show reaction
When clicking on the small gray dots below the main image here, Chrome usually performs a caroussel switch. On my device, it does not. Clicks are constantly being ignored, although the automatic caroussel switch works just as on any other device.

Example 2: click on button does not show reaction
When clicking the button "Weiter" on this page in the lower right section of the page, my Chrome does not show any reaction. Works as expected on any other device.
Screenshot: i.stack.imgur.com/g8dHN.png
My Chrome Version: 33.0.1750.146 m (plugins disabled, surfing in anonymous mode)
OS: Win 7 Pro SP1 64 Bit
Thanks for help!
UPDATE:
I found out that my Chrome shows different results to a VisualEvent-check than Browserstack.
Have a look here:
My chrome (buggy): i.stack.imgur.com/Earrs.png
Browserstack (working): i.stack.imgur.com/zRRgA.png
What can I learn from that? There are two more event handlers
There are no VisualEvent differences for the second example, however.
UPDATE 2: On a MS Virtual Machine, everything works as expected:

Hm do you deactivted your Javascript by accident?

Have u tried a different browser on the same device?
I had this problem too, but it was solved by itself the next day. Maybe you just need to do a reboot?
Concerning my device, the issue is related to the fact that my device has a touch screen which Chromium does not know how to handle in the standard configuration. Considered a bug.
nzolghadr#chromium.org
The problem is with "'ontouchstart' in window" expression which the jquery.flexslider library uses. Right now on Windows Chrome returns that as true when you have chrome://flags/#touch-events enabled/automatic. Related issues are: crbug.com/467934, crbug.com/555746, and crbug.com/392584 which based on those it seems that Windows thinks something is touch enabled and Chrome just reflects that.

Changing browser title not blinking browser in taskbar

There are a lot of tutorials on how to do this, and the crux of it seems to be changing the title constantly so the browser tab or taskbar will flash, however this doesn't seem to work for me.
I can see the tab changing its title, but it doesn't flash, so I am wondering if this is something which is no longer allowed by browsers?
I am using Windows 8.1, however have also tried Windows XP
I am using Firefox 25.0.1 and Chrome 31.0.1650.57 and neither of them react how I would expect.
As an example go to:
https://rawgithub.com/heyman/jquery-titlealert/master/example/index.html
(Make sure you click the shield icon in your url bar to allow the scripts to run on that page)
Then if you click the default example button and switch tabs, I would expect the tab hosting that page to blink or flash to indicate the tab has new content, however it doesn't do that for me, although I can see the text changing constantly.
Does anyone else have this issue and know how to solve it or why it occurs? I am looking to implement a feature in a chat system where it notifies you to new messages, however for some reason the code works fine and the title changes, but the taskbar or tab do not flash or anything and the users are really wanting this feature soon.
There seems to be no information on the internet related to this so im a bit confused and came here as a last resort.
In Firefox, tab flashes when title is changed ONLY if it is a pinned tab.
