Grunt file not doing a proper build - javascript

So I started my project using Yeoman with 'yo angular'. Since, I have added additional file structure (i.e. broke views and scripts into folders based on project area), added additional packages to use in my project, etc.... Running 'grunt serve' and it loads and works great locally as it should. Prior to this I hadn't done anything with grunt so just went with the default provided with the build from yo angular. Hadn't modified it yet. So when time to port this to a server and going to run just 'grunt' so that I get what I need to deploy, this is where I am having issues.

So when I do this, the first thing that fails is the test with this:

So then I simple run 'grunt --force'. Then, it seems to run fine, but has many warnings and in the "dist" folder, I only get root level html files (the index.html and 404.html) and just the fonts folder. None of the other views and none of the scripts or anything are shown or taken care of. My project folder structure is as shown in the attached 2 images:

Again, I simple want to build it all to one folder as I thought it did. Not worried yet of test and all.

Your copy task is only copying the root level html files and html files under the directory views which you don't have on your project.
Assuming that brok, emp, ppt, shared has html files in it; I suggest you try to modify your copy task to be:

I've generated an app using yeoman. ("yo angular")
While runnning "grunt" it fails with error.

I have no clue why this error is coming .
I have made no changes to the generated app.
Also I don't understand why every time i generate an app node_modules folder is created.
Why can't those modules be installed globally ?

I was able to fix this same issue by re-running all my grunt install commands in the project root of the site.
npm install grunt --save-dev
npm install
npm update
npm install grunt-contrib-less
I ran into this issue after merging in work from a few other devs that were working on the same project and had all installed grunt separately from each other. My assumption is that the different installs caused a version conflict.

grunt sass task producing errors due to bourbon package

I am writing a grunt task file for my project. I have defined the sass task in that and installed all the required dependencies. I am able to run the same gruntfile on my friends computer, but on my computer the sass task produces this error.

If anyone has resolved this problem before please let me know.

This discussion says that this issue is caused by incompatibility between the versions of Sass and Bourbon.
Bourbon 4 require at least Sass 3.3 so if you are running a lower version you need to either downgrade Bourbon to 3.x or upgrade Sass

Grunt build tasks doesn't go deeper than root

New to setting my own grunt tasks and used one from a yeoman tool. Been working good until I run "grunt build" and run into a couple of errors. On first, when running just "grunt build" I get a "cssmin" failed. I then use "--force" and all goes until it hits "concat" failed". Commented that out and runs, but only does the html files at the root of my project and not all else. My file structure is based on Angular MVC so I have views, scripts, etc... My grunt file look like:

(AngularJS) Injection doesn't work after set up UI-Router

I created a directory (root/app/views/partials/) and when I edit a partial view nothing change in the browser (no injection). I have to edit a file like app.js to see changements done on partials/home.html for exemple (or reload the page).
Is there something to do to say that there is a new directory to observe for grunt or something else? With ng-route everything were good and normally ui-router can done at least the same thing than ng-route.

EDIT: If I move the partial view to the views directory it work normally so I think I have to configure which directory will be observed by grunt or something like that.

I found that the problem seems to be that Grunt doesn't watch my new folder partials. I found a gruntfile.js and inside it there is

I added the line
<%= yeoman.app %>/{,*/}/{,*/}*.html
in the 'files' array but I can't explain what is it... I've seen that there is only one level watched by grunt but I don't understand the expression. I would to watch all the html file in views and all the files in all directories in views but I don't know how to do that. Is it regular expression ?
Now it work but not as I wanted. When I'll know what is the expression I'll try to do the right expression to make grunt watch everything in views directoy.
EDIT1: I found this Simple regex in Gruntfile But I don't know how to make it recursive for all directories. When I found the right solution I post it here immediately.
EDIT2: Don't use my first try on top of this post. I have understand what happend and I will explain you the best I can.

and I had
app/views/partials/home.html
so I edit this line for looking for deeper dir (here 2 levels more). I replaced the current line with this one :

GruntJS config styles and scripts path in dist

My folder structure looks like this

I've changed in Grunfile.js the dist folder, so when I run grunt --force the production folder is public/app. This works fine, but the paths to the folders styles and scripts is not updated with the new one (is still /styles/ instead of /app/styles/), so after generating the dist, I have to manually edit the index.html to adjust the paths.
I had a look at the Gruntfile.js but I couldn't find the right spot where to add this config. It uses almost everywhere <%= yeoman.app %> and <%= yeoman.dist %> so I was thinking it would adjust the paths based on my settings...
This is what I have changed

Notes
Just a note on what I am trying to do...
I have a php app, the folder structure looks like the one on top, in a sub folder (where I have my dev files) I started a new yeoman-angular app.
When I run grunt to build the dist, of course I don't want to create the dist in the subfolder used for dev (that is not public), and I don't want to create the dist and then copy the folder to the public folder. In this case it will not have the updated paths to styles/ and scripts/ and I have to manually update the paths.
So when I run grunt I want to create the dist in the public folder with the correct paths (in this case app/styles/ and app/scripts/).

No sure what your trying to do here. The app folder is the production folder by default and the dist folder is where your files get built into. So the relative paths makes sense when building.
You also shouldn't change anything in the dist folder as it will always change as you build.
Using the --force flag means your doing something wrong as your forcing grunt to void errors
Please upload your full grunt file so I can get a better understanding of the file setup

I've figured out to solve this problem by adding the base html tag in my index.html
