Getting pie chart values dynamically in javascript - javascript

This is my pie chart js code:

I am using this javascript pluging. My pie chart it works but its values is gives statically. I believe that I have to use an ajax, which is not a problem. My problem is how can I create the piedata data format after I decoded the json and how can I create the color? I have to generate randomly colors? Can you help me with this ?

For custom colors, outside of what is given to choose from via highcharts.js download that full js. Locate color array in there, and define your own via hex and call them.

How can I fit series with different lengths inside same axis with Apache ECharts?

I am using the Javascript ECharts library for displaying some data in my Angular 2+ app. I see that all the examples have some configuration like the following:

But my data does not always provide values for all the labels in the x axis. For example, I would need to fit these arrays of custom objects into the chart:

const series2 = [{ label: '03:45', value: 890} ];
Of course, I could manually insert null or empty values in all the series so that all of them provide a value for each label in the axis. But I believe there should be a more straightforward way to achieve this in ECharts, as it is quite simple in other chart libraries like Kendo Charts.
Assuming you are working with line chart, below is the solution, anyway it is not that different for other charts, just make sure your xAxis type is category
Your xAxis type should be set to category, and data should be something like this
xAxis: [
type: 'category'
data: [ {name: '00:00'}, ....]
]
your series data should look like this

You can use the 'time' format to fit series with different lengths.
Even the series, in this way, can have different lengths.

Pushing data from json to Chart.js labels and data

I am using the Chart.js lib to make charts.
I have a json array that I am getting from a database.
Here is the console log of it: Data
I need to get the address, speed, and speed limit for every element in the list and use it in a chart.
My current code is as follows:

Highcharts X-axis labels on the side

I'm using Highcharts, and I used to be able to get labels on the side. But it's not working now, am I missing something? The red arrow is where I would want the labels like in the following example.

As I understand from your code here, you wish to specify two categories with names 1 and 2 but you are not specifying any data for second category, So the only category that is showing on your chart is 1. Your data array for each series must have elements per each category. For example if you have two category you should consider having two data elements in each series. In this line data: [data.score] you are just specifying one element in data array. Your code should be something like this: (make it dynamic per your need)

How to implement Highcharts column-drilldown chart in Rails application?

I'm trying to implement a Highcharts Column-Drilldown Chart in my Rails application using lazy_high_charts. I want to display data that's being pulled from my database and stored in four arrays (areas, areaScores, departments, and deptScores). I'm having trouble converting the JS from the example (JSFiddle) listed on the highchart site into ruby. I have not been able to find any resources on creating a column-drilldown chart in ruby. Any help on how to integrate the drilldown chart into my ruby application would be highly appreciated.
I have included the sample JavaScript shown on the Highcharts demo page and my controller method that populates the four arrays with data and builds the highchart.

I haven't used Lazy Highcharts, but assuming it mirrors the JSON from the JavaScript API you need to add the sub-series by name, e.g.

Then you'll need to add drilldown data, and if Lazy Highcharts supports it, it might look something like this:

See this basic drilldown fiddle to see how the resulting Javascript should look.
To get drilldown to work in Rails you have to make sure you include the drilldown module in your JavaScript manifest file (application.js).
I also had to download the file as it was not my highcharts module catalogue. You can find the file here: http://code.highcharts.com/modules/drilldown.js
Add this to application.js:

convert one dimension array into two dimension array

So, if I'm understanding you correctly, you have an array that looks like this
['post work',0.64,'quality',0.35]
And you want it to look like this:
