how to load vb.net variable to javascript - javascript

I'm trying to add google maps to my website, but instead of fixing a latitude and longitude for the location, I would like to be able to load the values from database. How do I get a variable from vb.net and pass it to javascript? I've tried:

Sometimes, when I need to make absolutely sure (like with translated/localized strings) that the content comes across, I'll write it out to a hidden DIV somewhere on the page (or a hidden INPUT).
<div style='display:none' id='my_data'>stuffstuffstuff</div>
Then I just read the contents of the DIV (or INPUT, whatever I used). Slap a "runat=server" in it, and be able to write to it from your code-behind.

Should be able to write it in:

..
var myLatlng = new google.maps.LatLng(" & latitude & ", " & longitude & ");
..
")%>

Adding Javascript Functions to Load Google Maps C# WPF

I am trying to integrate Google Maps into a WebBrowserControl in my C# WPF program. The map loads in the control and centers on the correct latitude and longitude, however I am having a couple of errors. First of all, the map loads and after a couple of seconds I get an error box appear;
Secondly, when I am trying to add a marker on the location of the latitude and longitude, I get an error even before the map loads at all. Here is my code so far;

Unfortunately as I stated before both methods are causing issues.
I believe there was a change in Google's APIs back in June and they now require authentication for google maps. I don't see your API key being supplied anywhere. I would suggest you try your HTML/javascript in the browser or where you can sniff the requests and the responses and see what's going on.
If you still can't solve your problem. You may use Script Errors Suppressed too. Then this window will disappear.

Google maps js api. Many maps on page

I have accordion (twitter-bootstrap), and on each I have a map.
Accordion blocks generates in foreach. Maps generates as partial view, that takes model with latitude and longitude and block id.
It calls in foreach:

On layout I included script for js api.
Now I have 4 blocks, but only the last have map block (and it have only google logo and gray background without the map :( ). In debugger I see that lat and lng is same all 4 times. I think the problem is how I call initialize() map. Please help me to solve this issue.
The map si show only in the visible div. For the other you shuuld see only a grey background and in some case a small portion of the map in the upper left corner.
For see the map in every block you should use map.resize() or better use a genaration function for each time you show a new map. Initialize tipcally is call only when the windows is created and this this case the maps not visible fails

Different marker for each location in Google Maps JavaScript API v3

Noob here, trying to do something simple-yet-complicated. On this page I have succeeded in placing a red 52 of a certain size where I want it. I have done this by making my own changes to a no doubt familiar-looking code sample from the Google Developers site:

What I want to do now is add nine other markers at different points on the map, each different in some way from all the others. Like my red 52, each marker I propose to use has its own PNG stored at pollbludger.0catch.com. Can I just do this by coding each marker sequentially, rather than have it go through a loop?
You need use the property "icon" with "url" property and change the new coordinates in "position". use icons with the size of 32x32.
If you do not know how to get the positions use this example and copy the values lat,lng

How to mark a place using google map

I'm trying to set a contact page in which I display google's map to indicate the place of a meet. I'm currently using using these codes:

First you need to define the Latitude and Longitude of the mark

Then you need to add a marker:

Can't add markers to mobile google map

Trying to create a PhoneGap mobile app. Totally new to mobile apps, phonegap, and JS so bear with me. This is where I'm at:

With that, the map renders in the browser just fine. When adding the following that I've found in a number of tutorials it refuses to render anything. I am trying to do all of this in the googlemap/index.html page that I have created.

Basically, I'm using the above method to display a google map, and I'm trying to add a pin to the center location. Seems simple enough but proving to be beyond my abilities.
You have a syntax error on this line:
var marker = new.google.maps.Marker({
Notice that there is a dot between the new operator and the class name.
To fix, replace the line above with:
var marker = new google.maps.Marker({

PS: The error was reported in the (desktop) browser's console, I'm not sure how you'd see the same on an Android device.
