I have this from another question:
document.getElementById('value').innerHTML=listCookies()
function listCookies() {
var theCookies = document.cookie.split(';');
var aString = '';
for (var i = 1 ; i <= theCookies.length; i++) {
aString += ' ' + theCookies[i-1] + "\n";
}
return aString;
}
It will say:
cookie=value
How can I make it like this:
cookie with the value 4
function listCookies() {
var theCookies = document.cookie.split(';');
var aString = '';
for (var i = 0 ; i < theCookies.length; i++) {
aString += ' ' + theCookies[i].replace('=', ' with the value ') + "\n";
}
return aString;
}

I would like to apply same piece of code to two objects in JavaScript.
When calling getElementsByClass ,there appears 2 objects in my website.So I would like to apply the same code for both of them.Currently I'm applying it to only one Object (text[0]) and I would like to implement it also to text[1] .
var text=document.getElementsByClassName("th");
var text =text[0];
var newDom = '';
var animationDelay = 6;
for(let i = 0; i < text.innerText.length; i++)
{
newDom += '<span class="char">' + (text.innerText[i] == ' ' ? ' ' : text.innerText[i])+ '</span>';
}
text.innerHTML = newDom;
var length = text.children.length;
for(let i = 0; i < length; i++)
{
text.children[i].style['animation-delay'] = animationDelay * i + 'ms';
}
}
I think you want to do the same thing with using item[0] and item[1] together.
You can create a function. Or call this function by iterating your items too.
var text=document.getElementsByClassName("th");
function myFunc(text) {
var newDom = '';
var animationDelay = 6;
for(let i = 0; i < text.innerText.length; i++)
{
newDom += '<span class="char">' + (text.innerText[i] == ' ' ? ' ' : text.innerText[i])+ '</span>';
}
text.innerHTML = newDom;
var length = text.children.length;
for(let i = 0; i < length; i++)
{
text.children[i].style['animation-delay'] = animationDelay * i + 'ms';
}
}
}
myFunc(text[0]); // call functions with your items.
myFunc(text[1]);
I have a function (selectWord ()) that collects selected words, which calls a function (view (word [i])) by passing each word through a loop.
selectWord():
$('#button').on('click', function() {
var text = "";
var lang = $("#lang").text();
if (window.getSelection) {
text = window.getSelection().toString();
} else if (document.selection && document.selection.type != "Control") {
text = document.selection.createRange().text;
}
var word = text.split(" ");
$('#load').html("");
var promises = [];
for (var i = 0; i < word.length; i++) {
promises.push(Promise.resolve(view(word[i], lang)));
}
Promise.all(promises).catch(function(err) {
console.log("error");
return err;
}).then(function() {
$.each(promises, function(key, val) {
$.each(val, function(k, v) {
console.log("promises " + k + " " + v + " " + v[k] + '<br>');
$('#div').append("promises " + k + " " + v + " " + v[k] + '<br>');
});
});
});
}
});
view():
function view(word, lang) {
var html = "";
var id = "";
img = "";
ids = [];
fullLemmas = [];
gramCats = [];
setTimeout(wiki(word, lang), 1000);
setTimeout(function() {
for (var i = 0; i < ids.length; ++i) {
if (i == 0) {
getImg(ids[i], word);
wiki = fullLemmas[i];
gramCategory = gramCats[i];
}
}
}, 2000);
setTimeout(function() {
for (var i = 0; i < ids.length; ++i) {
if (i == 0) {
id = ids[i];
html += '<li class="col-12 col-md-6 col-lg-3"><div class="cnt-block equal-hight" style="height: 349px;"><figure><img id ="' + id + '" src="' + img + '" class="img-responsive" alt=""></figure><h3>"' + word + ' (' + gramCats[i] + ')' + '"</h3>';
}
html += '<p>' + fullLemmas[i] + ' (' + gramCats[i] + ')</p>';
}
html += '</li>';
return html;
}, 3000);
}
The view function in turn calls two functions that run through a JSON with getJSON (), the problem is synchrony. I have used setTimeOut () and Promises but I do not understand what it returns.
When showing the words, it keeps only the data of the last word.
I have converted JSON to CSV using JavaScript but in a bizarre fashion, I don't see the headers being transferred to CSV file. I only see the corresponding values.
Below is the example of
1) JSON ....
[
{
"entityid": 2,
"personid": 45676
}
]
2) JavaScript code ....
function DownloadJSON2CSV(objArray)
{
alert(objArray);
var array = typeof objArray != 'object' ? JSON.parse(objArray) : objArray;
var str = '';
for (var i = 0; i < array.length; i++) {
var line = '';
for (var index in array[i]) {
//line += array[i][index] + ',';
if (line != '') line += ','
line += array[i][index];
}
alert(line);
// Here is an example where you would wrap the values in double quotes
// for (var index in array[i]) {
// line += '"' + array[i][index] + '",';
// }
//line.slice(0,line.Length-1);
str += line + '\r\n';
}
alert(str);
window.open( "data:text/csv;charset=utf-8," + escape(str))
}
3) CSV Output ....
2,45676
I should see the keys - entityid and personid also in CSV in the first line of the document, but I don't.
This code will extract headers from the json keys additionally it will double quote the fields which include commas in it.
function convertToCSV(objArray) {
var array = typeof objArray != 'object' ? JSON.parse(objArray) : objArray;
var str = '';
var keys = [];
for(var k in objArray[0]) keys.push(k);
for (var i = 0; i < keys.length; i++)
{
if(i==keys.length-1){str=str+keys[i]+'\r\n'}
else {str=str+keys[i]+','}
}
for (var i = 0; i < array.length; i++) {
var line = '';
for (var index in array[i]) {
if (line != '') line += ','
if(array[i][index].toString().includes(",") && typeof array[i][index] === 'string'){array[i][index]="\""+array[i][index]+"\""}
line += array[i][index];
}
str += line + '\r\n';
}
return str;
}
Usage: (for Node.js)
var fs = require('fs'); //**run** npm install fs **if not installed yet in cmd**
var arrayOfObjects = [{"id":28,"Title":"Sweden"}, {"id":56,"Title":"USA"},{"id":89,"Title":"England"}];
fs.writeFile("./test.csv", convertToCSV(arrayOfObjects));
You hadn't set it up to output the header line.
function DownloadJSON2CSV(objArray)
{
var array = typeof objArray != 'object' ? JSON.parse(objArray) : objArray;
var str = '';
var headers = new Array();
for (var i = 0; i < array.length; i++) {
var line = '';
var data = array[i];
for (var index in data) {
headers.push(index);
if (line != '') {
line += ','
}
line += '"' + array[i][index] + '"';
console.log('line: ' + line);
}
str += line + ((array.length>1) ? '\r\n' : '');
line = '';
}
headers = ArrNoDupe(headers);
console.log('headers: ' + headers);
console.log('str: ' + str);
str = headers + '\r\n' + str;
console.log('final str: ' + str);
window.open( "data:text/csv;charset=utf-8," + escape(str));
}
function ArrNoDupe(a) {
var temp = {};
for (var i = 0; i < a.length; i++)
temp[a[i]] = true;
var r = [];
for (var k in temp)
r.push(k);
return r;
}
CSV outputs like so...
entityid,personid
"2","45676"
So I'm working on SP 2013 and have a document library which has three Lookup columns viz : Business Unit, Axis Product and Policy form. What I'm trying to do is I have managed to group by the List items first by Business Unit column and then by the Axis Product Column. This works fine but recently I'm trying to show the count of the number of items inside a particular Axis Product. Which would be like - Axis Product : "Some Value" (Count).
I'm able to show this count with Business Unit, but not able to do this with Axis Product. So I tried querying the library with both Business Unit and Axis Product to get the count for Axis Product, I'm not sure about this approach and currently I'm getting an error message:
'collListItemAxisProduct' is undefined.
Any help would be appreciated as I've been stuck on this for a long time now. Here is my code below :

You have to call clientContext.executeQueryAsync after calling clientContext.load in order to populate any results from the SharePoint object model.
executeQueryAsync takes two parameters: first the function to execute on success, and second the function to execute if an error is encountered. Any code that depends on successfully loading values from the query should be placed in the on success function.
Could anyone suggest performance improvements for the function I've written (below, javascript with bits of jquery)? Or point out any glaring, basic flaws? Essentially I have a javascript Google map and a set of list based results too, and the function is fired by a checkbox click, which looks at the selection of checkboxes (each identifying a 'filter') and whittles the array data down accordingly, altering the DOM and updating the Google map markers according to that. There's a 'fake' loader image in there too at the mo that's just on a delay so that it animates before the UI hangs!
function updateFilters(currentCheck) {

However, I'm suffering from performance issues (UI hanging) specifically in IE6 and 7 when the number of results is high, but not in any other modern browsers, i.e. FF, Chrome, Safari etc. It is much worse when the Google map markers are being created and added (if I remove this portion it is still slugglish, but not to the same degree). Can you suggest where I'm going wrong with this?
Thanks in advance :) Please be gentle if you can, I don't do much javascript work and I'm pretty new to it and jquery!
This looks like a lot of work to do at the client no matter what.
Why don't you do this at the server instead, constructing all the HTML there, and just refresh the relevant sections with the results of an ajax query?
