AngularJS - plotting points on a map - javascript

I am new to AngularJS and I am looking to add some plotting functionality to my web app.
I have a map of the world (a png file) and X/Y coordinates that I want to overlay on top of the map image. For example, my data might look like:

I would like the date values to appear in the area designated by the x/y coordinates, and the text to appear as a tooltip for the date.
I do not need the application to expose the capability to edit the x/y coordinates, I only need to display the values that my data source gives me. I need to use a custom image as the map. What are my options for getting this done?

You could use LeafletJS .
Another option is to use the Google Static Maps API.

how to select markers in the polygon from mysql

i'm saving markers coordinates in mysql like below image
what i need is when user draw on maps like below image
i could get the shape and select markers in the shape from mysql and create a query.
for example:

i belive i need use ajax. and i'm using google maps v3
is this even possible to do that ?

Google maps does not provide GIS functions to select the coordinates inside a polygon. You could do using the spatial extension ( data type GEOMETRY) for mysql .. and for this you can go into that ..http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/spatial-extensions.html for mysql doc.
A simple way to select locations (points) in google maps is to use the extreme values of the coordinates of the polygon points to get the equivalent to the coordinates of the rectangle that contains the polygon vertices and then perform a select

Retrieve current scale value of Leaflet

Is it possible to get the current scale value of the Leaflet component?
The image above shows "300 km" or "100 miles" that i would like to retrieve by a method. The existing documentation does only show how to add the scale control with specific options: http://leafletjs.com/reference.html#control-scale
Be careful with the scale at low zoom levels (when you see a large portion of the world).
The scale that you see is actually valid for the center horizontal line of your map view. It is even slightly wrong for the corner of the map, where it is placed!
If you just want to "duplicate" that visual scale somewhere else, you could simply create another Scale Control and extract its HTML container instead of embedding it to your map:

If you want to read the actual pixel length and text of the Scale Control, you could retrieve them through the internal _mScale.style.width and _mScale.innerHTML properties of the Scale Control. Replace _mScale by _iScale if you want the imperial values instead of the metric ones.
Otherwise, if you want to be able to measure some distance between 2 points on the map, you should rather use the myLatLng.distanceTo(otherLatLng) method, which would be far more accurate, as it would not only use the correct scale at the myLatLng actual latitude, but also correct for the possible different scale along the path to otherLatLng if it is placed at a different latitude.

Setting click priority on google maps polygon array

I am coding in JavaScript using the Google Maps API, and I was curious if there was a way to set the priority of what polygon array info window is shown when I click on an area. I have two polygons that are overlapping, and I need to control which info bubble appears when you click on the overlapped area. Thank you!
The click will be triggered on the most top Polygon.
The order of the polygons usually depends on the order in which they have been added to the map(when the map-property has been set) or by setting a custom zIndex-property.
So when you want to define a priority you must define the zIndex for the Polygons.
When you want to be able to click on each polygon(and each part of each polygon) there is a simple approach:
Observe the mouseover of the polygons and set the zIndex of the hovered polygon to a value higher than the zIndex of the other polygons. This will bring the polygon into front and you now may also click on the previously covered area.
You may implement this by extending the polygon-prototype:

How to add square tiles to leaflet map with hovering effect?

I want to split my map into tiles/territories. So i've prepared another layer showing squares. But this layer is full of .png image files so there is no data/object for this squares.
I've also tried to draw squares with leaflet's geometry objects. But it causing performance issues, there is times to show 500+ squares.
If you develop something like that what method would you prefer? UTFGrid? GeoJSON/Geometry? Or maybe any other better solution?
UPDATE:
Actually i don't want to get data belongs to square's territory i just want to change the square's color somehow i mean somehow i want to highlight that area maybe i can create a rectangle on the fly when user mouseover.
And im trying avoid to use UTFGrid for just highlighting. But I want to ensure the UTFGrid is the only way or not.
This sounds like the exact reason that UTFGrid was created! This site links to the tutorial that I used when learning UTFGrid, and it is solid.

MarkerCluster might have the look/feel you are going after, they basically paint a polygon onto the map layer. You can check the source here, and here's a relevant snippet:

Google Maps Tile Overlay

I am currently working on google map and new to it..
I want to know is it possible to divide the map into certain tiles with definite height and width and to color them.. If yes then somebody can just explain how to do it as i am facing difficulties.
I think what you are referring to is known as overlays in the Google Maps API. Do you want to achieve something like this? (click to show overlay)
The polygons section in the Google Maps API documentation would be the place to go to learn more.
If there is a limited area (geographically) that you would like to color based on map tiles, then you could create a custom tile layer overlay for that area (with each tile colored appropriately).
You can read the documentation for Tile Layer Overlays, but the gist is that you create a GTileLayer object, then set a property on that object with a function, getTileUrl, that is called when Google maps need to insert a tile in Google Maps.
In your getTileUrl function, you can return your own version of the tile (which you can draw with a colored tint based on the origional tile):

Once you have a a GTileLayer object, you instantiate a GTileLayerOverlay (passing in your GTileLayer) and add it to the GMap2 object (with the addOverlay method).
