Using SkyDrive as a image gallery CMS for a web page - javascript

Using the SkyDrive API I have managed to access a specific SkyDrive account and images in a specific SkyDrive folder.
I am able to pull the requested images to a web gallery and to display them.
My problem is that the SkyDrive login is done manually by typing in the username and password.
I would like to make that login request automatic from the web app/image gallery on the server side.
Is this possible and how?
Soon I will be updating this thread with a working example and some code.
Found a Jomla extension that does what I need. http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/galleries/content-photo-gallery/23932
Now how to do this with PHP,WordPress and JavaScript?

How to Auto Upload a json file to my github Website

There is a program in my company that generates a JSON file. I created a website (that will be live on github pages) using java script and html that displays the information from this JSON. Now I want others in my company to generate individual JSON files and be able to upload them to this website by clicking a single button. I'm thinking the button they click would generate the JSON (let's say it saves automatically as c:data.json), programmatically open the github pages website and then programmatically upload c:data.json. I do not want the json file to be stored on the website, just uploaded for one time use.
I have done a couple google searches and can only seem to find stuff on how to upload a json file in your code which I am already doing locally. I need a local file to programmatically upload, in order to be used in a github pages website. I'm new to web dev and any help is appreciated :)
OS: Windows 10
developed using: node.js, javascript, html, json, github pages.

I need a way to get the content inside website urls. Many sites are not showing up in iframes due to cors issues

I have a URL and I need the content inside this URL. Actually, I wish to embed the content present inside this URL. What all are the possible ways to do this without any cors issues??
I have already tried using iframes and other tricks to avoid cors issues. But still, I am not able to embed many websites in an iframe. My main aim is not to embed a website in an iframe but to embed the content inside the website URL.
I will be more than happy if there is an API which returns me back the content in a URL website.
If there is not, then how can I create such an API?? And how do I get it hosted??
As a solution to this, I created a flask app which will return me the whole website so that I can embed it in my iframe. But then it is like a proxy server and I cannot host it on Heroku because Heroku does not allow public proxy server.
Please note embedded the whole site or just the content is of similar use to me. It is just that when embedding the site, it will be interactive and in the other case, it will not. I am good with both, embedding just the content or the whole website.
Now, I am thinking to make a web crawler which will crawl the web, cache websites and store them in a database. I am thinking to host this on firebase. I have no idea about the capabilities of the firebase. I just know that it provides us with a NoSQL database and some cloud functions.
The cloud functions part interests me.
I don't know if the following is correct/feasible.
I will send the URL(whose content I need) to firebase. It will then fetch the whole website and store it in the database(so, that next time I request the same URL, it does not need to recache the whole site again) and then return me this cached content.
If there is other better way to do this, please let me know.
I need the content for my chrome extension https://github.com/Shaikh-Ubaid/InSyd
For code, please refer to this GitHub repo.
To get an idea of why I want to get content/embed content, I am attaching a gif showing the working of the extension.

Save email to outlook folder using ActiveXObject or Office Javascript API?

In outlook, there is a feature “Home page address” of folder through which we can view web site within the outlook. If we set http://app.abctest.com in the Home page address of a folder, then when we click this folder in the outlook, it will display that page.
I have a very specific requirement for enabling end user to browse a web site (in my case, it basically lists some archived emails) within from the Outlook. This can be easily done by setting the “Home page address” in the properties windows of any Folder of Outlook.
The user will see the page within outlook. He can search the old archived emails in the page. Then, the users should be able to download that email and save it to a folder in outlook. End users are basically searching the emails within outlook and downloading them from the server directly to their outlook folder. When user click the download\save link or button, then the outlook’s “Select Folder” dialog should appear where user can select the destination folder. When user click “OK” button, that email should be save to the selected folder in the outlook.
Currently, I have very few solutions but not sure if they can achieve the goal.
Solution 1: ActiveXObject
I tried to use Outlook ActiveXObject in javascript (used the following code in my test page) but I got the following Script error Popup message.
“Automation server cannot create the object”.
Javascript code:
var objO = new ActiveXObject('Outlook.Application');
Solution 2: Javascript API for Office
I have started to read the MSDN documentation https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/fp142185.aspx but have not got any sample code.
Could someone please sheds some light on it? Or what would be the best solution for this? Or any alternative solution.
Prakash,
Only one instance of Outlook can be run at the same time. Try to use the GetObject function instead to get the running Outlook instance instead. See How to programmatically create an Outlook home folder page in the Outlook Today style for more information. However, home page scripting is limited and secured to prevent malicious software. I'd suggest developing an add-in which can add a custom form instead.
The second solution listed above is for Mail Apps. See How to: Create your first mail app for Outlook by using Visual Studio for more information.
When your script runs inside a folder home page, window.external.OutlookApplication will point to an instance off the Outlook.Application object - your should be able to use it without creating a new object.

Populate DIV dynamically from external Javascript using data from database

I am developing a plugin for displaying a list of images in others' website. I intend to provide them only one url (probably a JS link) which they need to embed in their site so that they will see those images. These list of images would come from my database. Can you please tell me if such a functionality is achievable using Javascript?
Thanks,
Sachin
Javascript is client only and for those security reasons you cannot and should not connect to a database from js. What you can do is use a webpage to produce those images and use your script to inject the page into their sites. You can do this via an iframe or an object tag.

Why I can't take image snapshot with client-side camera in Django web application?

I have a Django web application in which I want to give an option to capture the image in the registration form. So, whenever the user presses the capture image button then the camera on the client system should open to take the image, the image then would get stored in the server-side folder.
I am thinking that the camera should open from the HTML page and send the image to the server, but I am not able to open the camera using the HTML code.
Please advise me.
You can use WebRTC for this; html5rocks.com has a nice tutorial, see especially the example of taking screenshots. To store the image on the server, you'll have to upload it via AJAX.
You have several options to access client webcam. The easiest way is HTML5. But you can use
sveral tools in silverlight and flash plugin.
See how-to-access-webcam-from-html5 and html5-getusermedia-record-webcam-both-audio-and-video
After getting image in page you can send it to server in diffrent ways including JavaScript (with AJAX) or using HTML form element (like file input)
