I am currently running Clearbox JS on my site so that users may view a larger version of an image once they have visited the images page. Now, I just recently implemented this and I have noticed that on every single page at the top of the page Clearbox JS echos the command that it is doing. Whether it be initializing, or viewing an image, or event rotating an image. I really do not want this message popping up at all. I would much rather being required to put a link somewhere on the website to the developers website then having to deal with this. If anybody knows how to remove this, please answer. I am providing a link to the website so that you know what I am doing as well as a pastebin link to the clearbox.js file which is the config file.

Try this somewhere in your page, or the cb_style.css file (but make sure you read their conditions, I am not sure if you are allowed to do this with this piece of software):
#CB_OSD{
display:none!important;
}
It should hide the box at the top.

I want to fetch this site
https://www.film-fish.com/modern-mindless-action
to fetch the IMDB IDs of all movies listed there.
The problem is that the page loads all movies listed there just after scrolling down. So, a simple wget doesn't work.
Even if I scroll to the bottom of the page and view the source code, I do not see the last movie in the list (Hard Kill (2020)).
So the problem seems to be that the content is being created via JavaScript.
Has anybody a tip on how to achieve that?

Indeed, executing JavaScript code is beyond scope of GNU Wget. You would need browser automation tool. If you know some Node.js or JavaScript I suggest taking look at PhantomJS Quick Start, Page Automation. Please take look at first example in 2nd link, you should be probably able to rework to your needs, i.e. instruct page to scroll down using JavaScript then extract what you need using JavaScript.
I am working on a project on my website Click here to go to project site,
but after inputting all the needed information, the download element does not work. Here is the code for the download link: The download may work on this website, but it doesn't work on my website, which is strange.
<a id="down" href="blob:http://veryblankwhitepaper.weebly.com/8d869eaa-5bce-4326-9dff-dd0b50286a84" download="filename.txt">DOWNLOAD</a>
For some reason, when I click this, nothing happens.
If you want, you can see the javascript here.
Scroll down to the scripts within the "/text-file-generator.html"
(I put all the scripts for my pages in one file)
Edit1: If I take the element out of the div that it is in, it seems to work, but I want it to still be in the div.
Your scripts change the link too quickly. Try adding a setTimeout function for half a second when you click the link. This should allow it to download.
I am not a programmer.
Someone has scraped my site home page source code and placed their iframe over it, so that when the page is fetched it displays their content.
The iframe is not immediately apparent but it's there, just well hidden. These sites are all hosted on hacked servers running WordPress. They still display our site links and architecture that is being delivered by our server. There are currently over 160 such sites built using the same method.
I believe that they have disabled js so that may not be an option.
I know that we can break out of an iframe if it's our site in the frame.
Is there any way, either on the server side or on the page to break their iframe and force our page to the top?
If we can break it, then our code becomes worthless and with a bit of luck they may stop using it.
Update:
Just wanted to add a few points to anyone who has any ideas.
1, They already have the code, only things being served are the images and CSS files because they have only left those links in the page.
2, They are showing their site by floating it with a z-index on top of everything, which is why when you view src you see the site above and not the site that is floated in the iframe.
3, The iframe is visible if you inspect element with firefox and scroll to the top of the page you can see the iframe they are using.
Based upon the additions (currently in an answer), since they have your code there's not much you can do about breaking out of the iframe.
Depending upon your server environment you could try determining what page is requesting your images and CSS, and then display modified versions to those accessing the scraped versions. The key word for your searches is 'hotlinking.'
Possible modifications could include not serving the assets (images/CSS), or returning a CSS file that just does a display:none; on HTML elements to hide.
It might be a fool's errand, but trying to contact the hosts of the hacked servers might be a good idea, but I can't honestly say that it will get you very far, and might be a waste of time for the majority of them.
I am making a magento webshop, but i have run into some problems with the theme i am using.
I bought it on themeforest, and i have asked the developer for help, but it takes ages for them to answer and come with a real solution to fix the problems, so now i am seeing if someone here can help me solve the problem.
The webshop: http://new.webhipster.dk/index.php/home-left
When i add items to basket ("Læg i kurv"), it only works on the front page (the link listed above). When i go to another page, it won't add the item to basket. (e.g. http://new.webhipster.dk/index.php/roedvin.html)
So my guess is that there is a corrupt js file, but what i don't understand is, that it is the same code which is generated in header on both pages - but still it doesn't work on any other page but the frontpage.
How do i figure out what js file is corrupt and isn't loaded properly?
I have gone trough each one to see if they load, and it seems like they all load exactly like they do on the frontpage.
I guess you are missing a library required for it or might be css. As error in your console window say that it could not found css property.
Because when I tried accessing url directly from browser it's adding items into cart
For Example you are calling -
setLocation('http://new.webhipster.dk/index.php/checkout/cart/add/uenc/aHR0cDovL25ldy53ZWJoaXBzdGVyLmRrL2luZGV4LnBocC9ob21lLWxlZnQ,/product/2/form_key/1Tfx79G6V33Q7l2Q/')
Now try accessing it from the url something like
http://new.webhipster.dk/index.php/checkout/cart/add/uenc/aHR0cDovL25ldy53ZWJoaXBzdGVyLmRrL2luZGV4LnBocC9ob21lLWxlZnQ,/product/2/form_key/1Tfx79G6V33Q7l2Q/
and this will add item in your cart.
Now you debugging should start from function setLocation(). Try doing file search for setLocation function. and check where it is failing.
Hope this will help you atleast for debugging.
Are you able to see the coding of a Javascript function on a webpage your viewing? Is there a way using Google Chrome DevTools for example?
Specifically, I want to figure out how to code something like this
!Example 1
from this page

Thanks in advance for any help!
Yes there is a way to look at all of a webpages html, Javascript files, and CSS using Chrome.
Open up the page in chrome, right click on the page and select inspect element (or press ctrl+shift+I).
From there you can navigate the different elements on the the page and the structure of the HTML file.
To get at the Javascript and CSS files switch over to the sources tab and look through the folders on the left to find the file you are looking for.
A word of warning, depending on the site the code that they are using may be minified (most all of the white space removed, and lots of variable names and other things shortened) or otherwise very difficult to read. If you are looking to do something more specific then I would recommend searching for that, or posting a question regarding that problem.
If you want to view the Javascript code, you can right-click the page, then select Inspect, then navigate to the javascript line by highlighting or selecting that line with .js extension and then position your pointer in the .js file, right-click & select Reveal in Sources panel.
In the browser you do right click to open a menu and select "View Source Code". Then you can read or save that page to analyze the content for any image or script.
But your question is so generic maybe you should try something basic and try to builds thing from there. Otherwise make a more specific question of what you want to do.
You can check it by opening the inspector in your browser and selecting the "coverage" menu. Then click on the "type" column until you find the .js files.
It is pretty much it, but you can read more details here: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/coverage/
