Any Metro style datepicker? - javascript

Is there any good metro styled datepicker control that I can embed to website? jQuery UI, for example, doesn't look good with metro styled web page.

If you're just looking for a jquery ui theme take a look at this jquit theme found here.
Other alternatives are:
MetroUI CSS offers a datepicker (and a complete user interface looking like metro)
http://metroui.org.ua/calendar.php
Also there is a theme for Bootstrap called BootMetro which also offers a datepicker.
http://aozora.github.io/bootmetro/javascript.html#datepicker
If you're trying to get a fully metro styled page, I would recommend to use a theme in combination with bootstrap as it saves you a lot of work.

For metro style, visit Jquit (For jquery UI)
http://jquit.com/build-jquery-ui-themes-with-jquit-builder/

You can customize your datepicker using ThemeRoller of JQuery UI.
Also checkout this blog for customizing. This DEMO looks to be a good metro styled.

How do I use Wrap Bootstrap in a JS project? I have a bootstrap theme but it isn't clear how to add it to the project

I am interested in adding a Wrap Bootstrap theme to a website that I am building. This is my first time using a theme. It is not clear how I should add the theme to my project. I am using sublime. I will be using JS and React to build. Any guidance will be helpful.

Almost every theme is different on how to integrate within your project/site but every theme I have purchased has come with a good amount of documentation.
The best way to get information on how to use your purchased theme is by reading the documentation that came with it.

What are the uses of jquery ui ? and why not use jquery instead?

What are the uses of jquery ui ? and why not use jquery instead ?
I've read about Jquery ui in their official site , however , I'm still confused as to what it can do for me and whether I should study it or not ? I'm an aspiring Website Designer.
jQueryUI comes with many components such as slider-bars, accordions and widgets that you won't find with jQuery. jQuery by itself is simply a Javascript abstraction, allowing you to write agile code for the client-side. jQuery is also a dependency for jQueryUI, so you will need it in order to use the latter library.
It's similar to Twitter Bootstrap in its feasibility.
Here are a few demos for you to look over to demonstrate the difference: http://jqueryui.com/demos/
You don't use one instead of the other.
jQuery UI is dependent on jQuery. jQuery UI offers widgets and effects you can use on your website.
JQuery UI does not replace JQuery, it is an extension of it and relies on it. It provides a few widgets like progress bars or date pickers for instance.

Does using only plugins from twitter bootstrap make sense?

I'm not currently using twitter bootstrap, but I do like some of the components. Does it make sense to use a few plugins from that framework when I'm not using the rest of the framework? bootstrap-alert.js for example. I'm also not sure how mutually exclusive the plugins are from the rest of the framework. Would i have to load everything to use a couple, in which case it probably would make more sense to look elsewhere for nice popovers etc.
Use the customise section of the website to create a smaller version of the framework with just the components you want to use. I've used a few of their components in conjunction with ExtJS to get the look I wanted. i.e. Buttons, Badges and Alerts.

Do Auto complete plug-in for jquery comes with out css

Is their any jQuery plug-in for auto complete that allows our own styling?
Every library i see comes with a built in cascading style sheet.
Yes and no.
At http://jqueryui.com/download you can select "no theme", but you will still get an .css that you need to use. That css is used in the javascript code to open, close and interact with the autocomplete menu and text.
It is pretty easy to alter the .css to make it look like you want it to. Try some small changes and reload the page to see what happens!
I don't have a perfect script for you, but you can download the Jquery-ui library with the "No Theme" option.
In fact, there is a minimalist default theme, but you can easily override it in order to build your own theme.
jQuery UI Does indeed allows user-based styling. You can simply change the css file as if you'd do from scratch. Heck, just write down the class names and create your own...

How do I implement a menu using jQuery and jQuery UI?

I am using jQuery v1.6.1 and jQuery UI 1.8.12 and, using those JavaScript libraries, I would like to implement a "simple" menu, similar to the one present in the StackOverflow website when hovering over the nickname.
Where I can find some useful tutorial or information about jQuery menus? What do you advise?
Since you are already using jQuery UI have you looked at the Tabs widget?
http://jqueryui.com/demos/tabs/
How about updating to JQuery UI 1.9 and then be using the JQuery UI menu?
