jquery mobile changePage() not working correctly - javascript

I am creating a webapp using phonegap and jquerymobile. When i am using changePage to go to other page then it is not working.Here is my code
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width; user-scalable=no" />
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" src="phonegap-1.4.1.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.7.1.min.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="jquery.mobile-1.0.1.min.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.mobile-1.0.1.min.js"></script>
</head>
<script type="text/javascript">
function clickEvent()
{
$.mobile.changePage("account_page.html", null, true, true);
}
</script>
<body>
<div style="top: 0; left: 0; position: absolute; z-index: 1;">
<img src="images/login_screen.JPG" alt="login_screen" width="320" onclick="clickEvent()"/>
</div>
</body>
</html>
But when i use
window.location.href = 'file:///android_asset/www/account_page.html';
Then it is working...Why is it so?

$.mobile.changePage doesnt load another html into view. it scans the html in the html whose link u gave, gets the first jqm 'page' on it and adds that into the dom(not the entire html) If this is not what you intended to do and wanted to load the full account_page.html into the dom then u'll have to use either
window.location.href or navigator.app.loadUrl

I want to switch once a button is pressed. This is the code. It would not be for something so simple, but I can't even get this to work.
HTML
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<title>JS Test</title>
<script src="app.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
</head>
<body>
<div class="page-section page-1 active"><h1>I'm page 1</h1></div>
<div class="page-section page-2"><h1>I'm page 2</h1></div>
<button class="link link-1">Page 1 link</button>
<button class="link link-2">Page 2 link</button>
</body>
</html>
CSS
.page-section {
width: 200px;
height: 200px;
display: none;
}
.page-1 {
background-color: blue;
}
.page-2 {
background-color: red;
}
.page-section.active {
display: block;
}
JS
function pageActivator(page) {
$('.page-section').removeClass('active');
page.addClass('active');
}
$('.link').click(function() {
var pageNum = parseInt($(this).attr('class').match(/\d+/g)[0]);
pageActivator($('.page-' + pageNum));
});
This is the codepen, on the website it works, while locally it doesn't I have no idea why.
I really don't understand because the code is the same from the codepen, maybe I am missing something on the HTML file? Even if the .js file is correctly connected, I have verified it. And the CSS file too.
You use JQuery codes but you did not call JQuery library. Do the following:
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<title>JS Test</title>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.6.0.min.js"></script>
<script src="app.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
</head>

Tweet Share URL inflation Not Working inside button click function

I am currently working o a quote APP, Jquery getJson to inflate the elementes. I'm having trouble integrating twitter's share button into my code. For some reason I cannot get it to pick up the text values from the API source when I use the attr function to change the tweet URL data-text value.When I click the tweet button all I got is a new tweet window with the hardcoded text. My intention is to set the quote + author in the text field. Any ideas to make it work? I did a lot of research and experimentation with the tweet event binds but no success
My HTML code:
<html class="no-js" lang="">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1">
<title></title>
<meta name="description" content="">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/bootstrap.min.css">
<style>
body {
padding-top: 50px;
padding-bottom: 20px;
}
</style>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/bootstrap-theme.min.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">
<!--[if lt IE 9]>
<script src="js/vendor/html5-3.6-respond-1.4.2.min.js"></script>
<![endif]-->
</head>
<body>
<div id="btn-container" class="container">
<p><a id="btn1" class="btn btn-primary btn-lg" href="#" role="button">Quote Me</a></p>
</div>
<div id="quote-container" class="container">
<blockquote id="quote">Never do anything yourself that you can hire someone else to do, especially if they can do it better.
</blockquote>
<footer id="author">Bill Bernback</footer>
</div>
<div id="share-container" class="container">
Tweet it
</div>
<script async src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.12.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script>window.jQuery || document.write('<script src="js/vendor/jquery-1.11.2.min.js"><\/script>')</script>
<script src="js/vendor/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/main.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
My JS code:
<pre><code>var quote;
var author
$(document).ready(function(){
$(".btn").click(function(){
$.getJSON("http://quotesondesign.com/wp-json/posts?filter[orderby]=rand&filter[posts_per_page]=1&_jsonp=?", function(getQuote) {
quote = getQuote[0].content;
author = getQuote[0].title;
$("#quote").html(quote);
$("#author").text(author);
$('.twitter-share-button').attr('data-text',author); // not working
});});});

External JS not working in my html file?

I'm pretty new to JavaScript, I am trying to execute my external JS to html, what im trying to do is to see if the mouseover responds when my mouse hovers one img.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<title>GWW- A Global Warming Warning...</title>
<link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet">
</head>
<body>
<div class="gridContainer clearfix">
<div class="world">
<img src="poluicao/poluicao0001.png" alt="Mundo">
<div class="botao1">
<img src="poluicao/offbuton.png" alt="but1">
</div>
<div class="botao2">
<!--<a href="#" >//-->
<img id="readybotao" src="degelo/offbutton.gif" alt="but2">
<!-- </a> //-->
</div>
</div>
</div>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-2.1.3.min.js"></script>
<script src="javascript.js"</script>
</body>
</html>
And this is my JS file:
function buttonon() {
alert("If it showed up it worked!");
}
document.getElementById('readybotao').addEventListener("onmousover",buttonon());
What am I doing wrong?
change external javascript like this :
var ele = document.getElementById("readybotao");
ele.addEventListener("mouseover",buttonon);
function buttonon() {
alert("If it showed up it worked!");
}
and close tag script :
<script src="javascript.js"></script>
you have >missing on the line <script src="javascript.js"</script>

Is it possible to run an Adobe Edge Animate Project with a single HTML File?

My HTML File looks like this:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge"/>
<title>Unbenannt</title>
<!--Adobe Edge Runtime-->
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge">
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" src="http://animate.adobe.com/runtime/5.0.0/edge.5.0.0.min.js"></script>
<style>
.edgeLoad-EDGE-720796712 { visibility:hidden; }
</style>
<script>
AdobeEdge.loadComposition('OrgAnimation', 'EDGE-720796712', {
scaleToFit: "none",
centerStage: "none",
minW: "0",
maxW: "undefined",
width: "1250px",
height: "800px"
}, {"dom":{}}, {"dom":{}});
</script>
<!--Adobe Edge Runtime End-->
</head>
<body style="margin:0;padding:0;">
<div id="Stage" class="EDGE-720796712">
</div>
</body>
</html>
Then I have the JS-File called "OrgAnimation_edge.js" so I'm assuming it gets loaded at
AdobeEdge.loadComposition('OrgAnimation'...
It works -
But now my Question: Is it possible to put the js code from OrgAnimation_edge.js into the HTML file somehow and make it work with just that single file? I couldn't figure it out :(

Aloha Editor does not work on Opera, and sometimes does not work on Chrome

I've been using Aloha Editor to create an example of a simple editor, but I haven't succeed to getting it to work in Opera. The menu doesn't appear and the textarea is not editable.
In all other browsers seems to work fine, but sometimes Chrome needs to refresh the page to work.
This is the relevant HTML code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8" />
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
<link href="//cdn.aloha-editor.org/latest/css/aloha.css" rel="stylesheet" media="screen" />
</head>
<body>
<textarea id="content"></textarea>
<script src="//cdn.aloha-editor.org/latest/lib/require.js"></script>
<script src="//cdn.aloha-editor.org/latest/lib/aloha.js" data-aloha-plugins="common/ui,common/format,common/table,common/list,common/link,common/block,common/undo,common/contenthandler,common/paste"></script>
<script src="notes.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
And this is the javascript code (inside notes.js):
var Aloha = window.Aloha || ( window.Aloha = {} );
Aloha.settings = { sidebar: { disabled: true } };
Aloha.ready(function () {
Aloha.jQuery('#content').aloha();
});
I'm answering my own question after reading the comment from Inshallah.
The problem was that the JavaScript variables Aloha and Aloha.settings should be set before including Aloha.
HTML code
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8" />
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
<link href="//cdn.aloha-editor.org/latest/css/aloha.css" rel="stylesheet" media="screen" />
</head>
<body>
<textarea id="content"></textarea>
<script src="//cdn.aloha-editor.org/latest/lib/require.js"></script>
<script>
var Aloha = window.Aloha || ( window.Aloha = {} );
Aloha.settings = { sidebar: { disabled: true } };
</script>
<script src="//cdn.aloha-editor.org/latest/lib/aloha.js" data-aloha-plugins="common/ui,common/format,common/table,common/list,common/link,common/block,common/undo,common/contenthandler,common/paste"></script>
<script src="notes.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
JavaScript code (inside notes.js)
Aloha.ready(function () {
Aloha.jQuery('#content').aloha();
});
