I'm using apexcharts with vue. I want the sparkline graph to take 100% of the width of it's parent.
So this is what I did:

I tried also to set the width as a prop of the component but it behaves the same.

So nothing special here, it is copied from apex dashboard example, the only thing I've added is trying to set the width 100%.
It overflows it's parent (green) and the parent's container (yellow) as shown here:
But also when I resize the window(without refresh) it doesn't retain its size, it becomes smaller than the parent:
How can I make it fill the width of it's parent (green container) and keep it that way (responsive)?

I had the same issue, I just removed display: flex on the container and that resolved the issue :)
I figured out that the gap after resizing is due to missing data in the series and the fact that I have set a max attribute for the x axis.
So that solved issue #2.
Apparently the charts render before it should, so it doesn't get the right parent's width,
a workaround that solved it for me was to not render the chart after the component is mounted.
you can do

by defalut it is "On",
it just places you data in between so you can see a little space on left & right end of the x axis.

The fiddle above is set to a minimum width of 1057px, while the max-width of the container is 800px. This forces a horizontal scrollbar. If you zoom in on the data, notice that the available scrolling area does not change. This means that the data is not zoomed, it is cropped and stretched to fill the area.
I know there are events I can hook on to - the redraw event seems a likely candidate. Perhaps I can adjust the minWidth and cancel the crop-zoom, or is there a config I'm missing wihch whould do what I want?
The simplest solution is to use scrollbar feature from Highstock:

I am using the horizontal bar chart from chartjs. Right now my Chart seems to be very big, and the space between the ticks on the xAxis is very high. ( I attached picture of that), can anyone tell me how to reduce this space and scale the chart in total better?

If you post your corresponding HTML then I can confirm this, but is #myChart the id of your canvas element or of a div that contains your canvas element?
Chart.js will render the chart such that it fully fills the parent of the canvas element. Even if you set a width property on a canvas element it will still not affect the chart size.
Checkout this codepen example that demonstrates the difference. At the top is a chart contained by a div whose width is set to 40%. At the bottom is the same chart but the canvas element's width is set to 40%. Notice that the second chart still fills the entire window.
So long story short, you should wrap your canvas element in a div and set the div's desired size accordingly to actually change the size of your chart.
Now, let me address your question about changing the space between ticks in your X axis. There is not really a way to truly do this like I think you are wanting to do, because chart.js determines the tick placement by dividing the width of the chart by the number of tick steps (e.g. it always uses the full width of the chart equally).
So one way to decrease the space between ticks is to simply add more ticks (by changing the tick stepSize using the stepSize and fixedStepSize properties). Obviously, in this case, the chart size has not changed. You are just showing more ticks, so the space between them has decreased.
If you want to truly change the distance between ticks, then the only way is to decrease the width of the chart. But by default, the height of the chart will decrease along with the width because the maintainAspectRatio property is defaulted to true.
So if you want a narrower chart (but still want the chart to be large) then I would advise you to set the maintainAspectRatio property to false and manually set the height and width of your chart's parent div.
Checkout this codepen that gives an example of each of the tick spacing concepts that I discussed.
The first chart is the baseline, the second chart adds more ticks (thus decreasing the tick spacing), and the third chart changes the aspect ratio so the chart is still large but narrower (therefore the distance between ticks is reduced).
Try using chartArea: {width: '30%'}. Adjust percentage as per requirement. It will compress the width of the chart. Just a thought !!!! I used in horizontal bar graphs to adjust my graph size.

But, when I decrease the width or height of this chart, datalabels combined, which look like the image below. I think it is the problem of distance property. I've tried to change distance dynamically but failed.
As a result, what I want to do is to locate datalabels always in center of the each slice even decreasing/increasing chart size.
This is a tough one. From my experiences, there's not (currently) a way to explicitly center the labels directly in the middle of each pie slice. I've tried positioning the labels as you did in your example with the same (unsatisfactory) results, especially in smaller browser windows.
I'd recommend either using a legend to show the categories/types in your pie or consider using a stacked bar chart instead (see http://www.highcharts.com/demo/bar-stacked).

I am loading a column chart in 3D with Highcharts. On the inital load, the chart works perfectly. When I use setData() to change the series, the chart gains an odd white outline around its edges.

I tried a few fixes such as using edgeColor and edgeWidth, although they made no difference.
Note: If I hover over one of the columns, the outline is instantly removed on that particular item until setData() occurs again.
How can I remove this white outline from the chart?
edgeWidth should be working, however there is a bug. Reported here - thanks.

This improper cutoff was raised as issue#622 in the Github repository for ChartJS.
This was determined to be a bug (evidently this bug hasn't yet been fixed)

In response to that issue, Robert Turrall has a solution which he says is a good workaround. Here is his proposed fix:
I'm sure that this is due to the fact that the tooltips are generated
within the confines of the canvas, making it difficult to fix.
I had the same issue on my doughnut chart and solved it by
implementing custom tooltips as per the example on the samples folder
- worked in conjunction with my existing tooltip fontsize and template settings in the chart initialisation code:

You can add internal padding to the chart. For instance in my case I had a cut of tooltips on the right.

I found a workaround for this. I have blank labels on my x axis, so I just added a label with several spaces in it for the last label entry. That caused ChartJS to leave enough space for the label to fit, which also leaves enough room for the tooltip to fit.
In addition, I have large circles for my data points and the last one on the right was getting clipped before. Adding the extra space to the label also fixed that.
Here is the code where I create my labels. The ratings is my actual data defined earlier:

Even if you have actual labels on your graph, you could add spaces to your last label to make it bigger. If you are centering your label, you could add the same amount of space before and after.
Obviously there will be limits where this will or won't work for you, but for my case I added 7 spaces and all looks good now.
Also, my case had an issue on the right side, whereas this question has an issue with the left side. The same fix should work, but putting the space on the first label.
It seems like Chart.js can't figure out which direction to show the tooltip because it can't detect the size of the tooltip element when it extends beyond the canvas.
In my scenario I fixed it by squeezing the text inside this particular tooltip closer with these options for the tooltip options object:

tooltips.bodySpacing = 1;
tooltips.yPadding = 2;
Wierdly enough Chart.js then correctly decides to show the tooltip to the left of the mouse and not below.
Would be cool if you could choose which direction the tooltip appears compared to the mouse.
In my case, I was able to work around this issue by reducing the amount of text in the tooltip. I did so using custom tooltip callbacks to specify the label text. My initialization looked like this:
