variable portability in $.ajax - javascript

I get that A in ajax is asynchronous. But I can't find an alternatives to what i'm trying to do.
I have a graph that I need to feed with a javascript array. This array is made from a csv import.
So I'm trying to make a function that return an array with the function recupCSV():

I can see many reasons why it doesn't work, but I can't see any that would.. ;)

AJAX values from database to html skipped

I have these employee information which display if you click on the employee box. But sometimes the value of some fields returns null even if they have a value but when I retry it will return ok. Is this some code problem? here is my code...

does storing elements into an object and passing it as a parameter is a good practice of coding? and what may be the cause of the select having no value even if I when I try to console.log the value and it returns ok?
I think the problem is here:
$(agentElement.txtUam).val(uamnumber);
$(agentElement.txtFirstName).val(firstname);
...
You should do:
agentElement.txtUam.val(uamnumber);
agentElement.txtFirstName.val(firstname);
...
There is no need to use jquery selector $, because agentElement.txtUam is already one, also gathering elements inside an object is a best practice because you can't pass each one as a parameter.
The perfect answer to this is add a call back function so the dropbox have a option first before adding the val. Here is the idea of adding a callback function

Delay Ajax Function per request with Google Maps API

I want to get some data about places using the Google Places API.
Thing is, I want to get data from more than 1000 records, per city of the region I'm looking for.
I'm searching for pizzeria, and I want all the pizzerias in the region I've defined. So I have an array like this:

My objective is to make a single request, then wait 3sec(or more), and then process the second request. I'm using Lodash library to help me iterate.

I've tried a lot of solutions I found on stackoverflow, but no one were working, or I might have done them wrong.

The fact that $.ajax returns a Promise makes this quite simple
Firstly, you want getData to return $.ajax - and also get rid of async:false

Then, you can use Array.reduce iterate through the array, and to chain the requests together, with a 3 second "delay" after each request

The most effective answer is the one above from #jaromandaX.
Nevertheless, I also found a workaround with Google Chrome, which will help you to not get your hands dirty with promises.
On Chrome:
1. Open Console
2. Go to network tab
3. Near the options "preserve log" and "disable cache", you have an option with an arrow where you will see the label "No throttling".
4.Click on the arrow next to the label, then add.
5. You will be able to set a download and upload speed, and most important, delay between each request.
Kaboom, working with my initial code.
Nevertheless, I changed my code to fit the above answer, which is better to do, in terms of code, speed, etc..

Set Value from JSON via AJAX

I'm using Github Gists for a web playground I'm making as a side project. I load two json files into the editor. 1 handles all the libraries (jquery, bootstrap, etc:) and another for the users settings (fontsize, version, etc:)
So anyway I have this JSON named settings

I parse and attempted to grab an object from the JSON and set it as a value of a input textbox.
Now console.log(jsonSets.siteTitle) works perfectly fine
but when I try to change the input dynamically...

The problem is it's not actually applying the value!
The only way I've been able to successfully apply the value is...

I had to use a synchronous request by changing some settings in the ajax request. The drawback of this is that the browser will be locked up until you get a request response, which can be bad on a slow connection or a connection with an unreliable server. With google, most of the time, I don't think that will happen.

Parse Promises Multiple httpRequest Cloud Code

I'm writing an iOs app with Parse.com and Cloud Code. Actually I want to retrieve objects which contain one picture and other informations from a website and I want to add them to a class named News. When I run my code, every object is saved (in my class, one row = one retrieved object) but unfortunately the only first one has its picture saved.... Any idea ?
I made a lot of searches about promises (series / parallels) and I think the problem comes from here..

Your promises array should put out of the for loop scope. Otherwise , your promise array would be assigned to be a new blank array each loop.
Parse.File would be saved automaticly when its parent do save, you don't need to save it in advance.
