how to delete a blank frame in javascript? - javascript

I have this function that creates a "frame" or something like a frame and i want to delete it.
Here is the code for the create:

I tried to delete the frame with this function:
document.getElementById('d').removeChild();
but it didn't work.
how i can find it and delete it?
It's suppose to block a web-frame until the time is over so that no one can click on the frame. So it creates a frame over the web-frame and I have a function to delete this frame because after sometime I need to be able click again on the original frame.

try this( A.removeChild(B).A is parent node of B, B is the node to delete)

You have to change this line:
theOne.style.height = newHeight;
instead
theOne.style.height === newHeight;
The second one is an expression, not an assignment.

Scroll then snap to top not unsnapping

I'm trying to create snap to top divs that cover the entire page and I have it working, it's just that after they snap to the top they don't unsnap and stay fixed to the top. I'm using the answer given by mu is too short from this previous question scroll then snap to top but I can't get it to unsnap.

Save the values used before you set these, and reset them when you "un-dock". Simply setting "docked" to show that you're un-docked is not enough.

Float DIV is not fixed

I install Float Left Right Advertising plugin on my site: www.displej.me and I set banners at the side of site. But when you scroll baners are not fixed, they follow page but they are refreshing and blinking. Also, when I'm scrolling down they stay fixed aside and later start to follow the page. What to do? I try to change the numbers in the code but not sucsses.
clear:both
is something I would try to keep the sides free from the centered divs movements.

i want the variable slide_image to select the nth list, where n should be the same as the variable count.
i added the + signs (although i dont know why i have to) and made the quote symbols different, and yet it still doesnt work
You should do it like this:
$('.slider > li:nth-child(' + count + ')');
The problem is that you're not closing the strings/segments surrounding the variable, so:
'.slider > li:nth-child(" + count + ")'
Is just a long string, a selector which makes no sense; that's why it matches nothing, you have to actually separate the sections by ending the static parts with the same kind of quote...

How do I transition the changing of CSS values?

I'm using JavaScript to change CSS values to make a particular div fill the page when a button is clicked. But I would like make the change from small to filling the screen smooth. How do I do this with CSS or Javascript? This is currently how I'm changing the size of that div

Use jQuery'sanimate() function!

You can do this by using Jquery, .animate() API see the reference .animate()

What you want to do is rather complicated, first you need to get the absolute position and dimension of your element in the document, also the dimension of the document itself, there is no native cross-platform javascript functions for that but there are known techniques to find out those values, do a search. So assuming you will implement these functions yourself: getAbsoluteLeft(), getAbsoluteTop(), getWidth(), getHeight(), getDocWidth() and getDocHeight() here is the animating code (not tested):
