JavaScript Play Button 1 Starts Video for Play Button 2 - javascript

I am making a webpage that has two videos on it. I want each video to play when its poster image is clicked on. To do this, I added the script below to each video, and changed the id for each to "video1" and "video2".For some reason both videos play and stop the second video. I can't see why. Below is my code:

You're having issues because you are using the same variable to refer to the video in both cases. You repeated yourself a little bit in your code, so I tried to cut out those bits. Let me know if you have any issues.

Your problem comes from the fact that you use the same names for everything:

So when you actually call playPause, myVideo has always been set to point to video2.
I suggest that you pass the ID of the video you want to play or pause when you call playPause, and that you only define playPause once - that second definition is totally redundant, since it's the exact same code.

Create a buffering video on seek, pause or play

I want to create a buffer gif when user seeks, play or pause the video. I am able to succeed a bit but I can'f figure out how to do this on seek. This is my code.

For my website, I wanted a specific video to play, once a condition is met.
e.g (If x = 1, play the video)
I have this code in the HTML file:

HTML 5 video player external control

I'm using html5 video player to play some videos and trying to use external controls with javascript. manage to get the player play and pause. but i cannot get it to mute and unmute using the buttons. if someone can help with this matter its highly appropriated.

Javascript HTML5 audio - Dont play sound if already playing?

I have set up some HTML audio on my site and I have set an autoplay function after a couple of seconds, however the sound seems to be loading twice? one starts playing straight after the other although, one is a ghost and cannot see a player for it.
How could I go about telling javascript not to start playing sounds if there are already sounds playing?

But now the flash audio is behaving how the previous audio did obviously the javascript is not affecting the flash embed?
Can't you have a boolean telling the browser if there is already some music playing ?

Well, that's a part of your jScript.js.
It seems that problem is in this line:
location = base + "/#" + current.replace(base, "");
You navigating to the new url without leaving current page(if origins are the same and the only difference is in hashes). I recommend you to start playing audio after changing location origin.
So you might place your autoplay logick right after this location changes.
