You can use this pattern to basically extract all the numbers:
/-?\d+(?:\.\d+)?/g
If, as in your string example, you want to extract these numbers by pairs, you need to use capturing groups:
/^Lat = (-?\d+(?:\.\d+)?)\s*?\r?\nLong = (-?\d+(?:\.\d+)?)\s*?$/mg
for each pairs founded, the latitude is in the capture group 1 and the longitude in the capture group 2.
Note that this second pattern take in account that literal strings "Lat = " and "Long = " are at the start of a line, always in this order, and only separated by a newline character. (with the m modifier, ^ means "start of the line, and $ means "end of the line"). Trailing spaces are allowed with \s*? for each line.

There's a lot of ways to that, and this is so easy, so try this simple answer:-
var str = 'Jhony Jhons,jhon#gmail.com,380967574366';
var splitted = str.split(","); //split them by comma
splitted.pop(); //removes the last element

You need a regex to select the complete phone number and also the preceding comma. Your current regex selects each digit and replaces each one with an "\n", resulting in a lot of "\n" in the result. Also the regex does not match the comma.
Use the following regex:

I'm trying to extract out a group of words from a larger string/cookie that are separated by hyphens. I would like to replace the hyphens with a space and set to a variable. Javascript or jQuery.
As an example, the larger string has a name and value like this within it:

(notice the leading "C")
So first, I need to match()/find facility=34222%7CConner-Department-Store; with regex. Then break it down to "Conner Department Store"

If I understood it correctly, you want to make a phrase by getting all the words between hyphens and disallowing two successive Uppercase letters in a word, so I'd prefer using Regex in that case.
This is a Regex solution, that works dynamically with any cookies in the same format and extract the wanted sentence from it:

Use this Regex (/([A-Z][a-z]+)-?/g to match the words between -.
Replace any - occurence in the matched words.

facility can be any Word built with alphabetical characters lower and uppercase (no other chars) at any length
= needs to be the char =
34222 can be any number but no other characters
| needs to be the char |
Conner-Department-Store can be any characters except one of the following (reserved delimiters): :/?#[]#;,'

I'm learning how to use regular expressions and am a bit confused by something hopefully some one can clarify, if I use the following string and expression I get the expected results with match but the exact opposite if I use split. Beating my head against the wall I don't understand why?

pos=a.split(patt);
alert(pos); //returns 212, and ,67889
Split means, look for a match of the pattern on the string and split that string every time you see a match. Also Remove each match you find.

Consecutive splits are ignored, so you are just getting the two strings that don't match the regex.
You can use split or match to achieve the same, but you need different regex. For instance, you can use for match:

I expect this expression to extract into two matching groups the two IDs.

I simply replaced the non-capturing groups of your initial regex by capturing groups, and used regex.exec(input) instead of input.match(regex) to get the captured data. Also, since the IDs seem to be hexadecimal values, I used A-F instead of A-Z.

I am parsing some key value pairs that are separated by colons. The problem I am having is that in the value section there are colons that I want to ignore but the split function is picking them up anyway.
sample:
Name: my name
description: this string is not escaped: i hate these colons
date: a date
On the individual lines I tried this line.split(/:/, 1) but it only matched the value part of the data. Next I tried line.split(/:/, 2) but that gave me ['description', 'this string is not escaped'] and I need the whole string.

Use the greedy operator (?) to only split the first instance.
line.split(/: (.+)?/, 2);
If you prefer an alternative to regexp consider this:
var split = line.split(':');
var key = split[0];

Slightly more elegant:
a = line.match(/(.*?):(.*)/);
key = a[1];

May be this approach will be the best for such purpose:

So, you can use tabulations in your config/data files of such structure and also not worry about spaces before or after your name-value delimiter ':'.
Or you can use primitive and fast string functions indexOf and substr to reach your goal in, I think, the fastest way (by CPU and RAM)

Split string in two at first occurrence
To split a string with multiple i.e. columns : only at the first column occurrence
use Positive Lookbehind (?<=)
const a = "Description: this: is: nice";
const b = "Name: My Name";
console.log(a.split(/(?<=^[^:]*):/)); // ["Description", " this: is: nice"]
console.log(b.split(/(?<=^[^:]*):/)); // ["Name", " My Name"]
it basically consumes from Start of string ^ everything that is not a column [^:] zero or more times *. Once the positive lookbehind is done, finally matches the column :.
If you additionally want to remove one or more whitespaces following the column,
use /(?<=^[^:]*): */
